Directed by Wes Anderson, written by Anderson and Owen Wilson.
Wes Anderson is great with the montage. See Rushmore's "Max's Extra Curriculars" or The Life Aquatic's "Ned Trains with the Team," etc.

One of my favorites is the detectve's report on Margot from The Royal Tenenbaums, a masterpiece of a film.

This is a great example of how montage can be used for backstory (amongst pretty much anything), filling in the audience, and in this case the characters, on someone's history.

This film is packed with storytelling jewels, great moments, interesting characters. In a sense it's a con film, a love story, a drama-comedy family film all in one. A must see.

Be well.
