This is a movie that I can not remove from my thoughts for more than 24 hours after watching it. The remarkable achievement of Korean director Ki-Duk Kim. Basically, the story is simple, but all the elements that merge it offer many reasons for thinking. It's about a young man who does not have his own home, rides a motorcycle and visits the houses of people who have left them for a certain period, fixes them home at home, their clothes are broken, their clothes are laundered and arranged. So it gets the impression that he has always lived there. It's his everyday routine, breaking into other people's homes, but the behavior we see in him is not so common for burglars that we are used to seeing them.
The youth encounters unusual situations and introduces a girl who is shown as a principle for his venus urania ie. eternal love or soulmate. The main characters in films do not speak at all, and others are simply confused before their actions. Perhaps the director's idea was to make us think that we can live in a different way, not as we have been accustomed, to cause doubts about what is reality, and what the dream should not confuse through the silence of these two characters and do not be surprised.
There are many moments that have led me to think whether it is this way or otherwise, so I warmly recommend it to all the filmmakers who do not have it, I hope that some debate about films will be developed because it really is worth it. And I think that I chose the right time to watch it, maybe if I watched it a year ago I would say it was nonsense and would not understand anything, but it requires a lot of concentration and deep analysis.
