Office Space (1999) by Mike Judge (REVIEW)

This is already something! Films had suffered a crash at the box office, he did not earn money, but he kept his own base of fans, and after the release of the DVD edition, he was spreading by saying: [Psss, let me tell you something, there is a movie that you have to look, to a friend ...]. Not to say a typical forum movie. Smart comedy that criticizes big corporations earning on the back of employees. Capable workers and idiots bosses, bureaucracy, greed and all those beautiful things of today's society.

Peter, Michael and Samir work for one such company. Placed in the so-called "Cubes", behind their computers, daily bullied and belittled by their bosses, frightened of their jobs, their everyday life is hard, monotonous and depressing. On a beautiful day, Peter concludes that every day he is worse than the previous one, and that that day is the worst day of his life. He concludes that he was happier when he did not work and, therefore, he will no longer work, he will appear at work when he wants and will not care about anything. This plan will change his life, but also his friends ...

As I said, this is a smart comedy, something like Invention of Lying but with a slightly different humor and a very different theme. It's not from those movies that you will laugh at crap. The scenes with Peter's slimy boss, his neighbor, the type of stuttering ... are priceless. Michael Bolton's hacking around the movie is also :) Scenes again when Peter talks to "consultants" who lay off workers and the scene of the picture are those who will remember from the film.

For Jennifer Aniston's character and actors, she is in the film, though not in too many scenes. And she has a slim boss, of course. A beautiful movie in which many people who work or have ever worked for similar companies can be recognized. and beautiful satire at the same time.
