Psycho (1960) by Alfred Alfred Hitchcock (REVIEW)

Review may contain spoilers, watch out. The movie "Psycho" is top 5 movies by Alfred Hitchcock, the movie has a very deep meaning that is related to human psychology and we gonna get back to that later.

The movie starts with a young secretary who decides to steal 40,000$ from her job in a Phoenix company, after he success to wipe out 40,000$ she decides to leave her life and move to a different city. On the way to a new life she tries to sell her old car and buy new one so she can't be tracked by the police who are already investigating the case with the missing money.

Everything goes well until she runs into a storm on an open road, but luckily there is a motel right there in front of her, so she decides to pull over the car and rest for a night so the storm can pass and to hit the road after that.

The "Bates" motel seems like a cool place but it is empty and its on a hidden dust location where there is nothing close to him except for one big house. In that house lives the young Norman Bates with his old sick mother, and he is the owner of the house and the motel.

After she pays for her room and after a small chit-chat talk with the owner she goes into her room to rest so she can continue with her robbery run first thing in the morning. Not long after the young secretary moves into her house, Norman tries to spy on her from the a hole in the next room and after some time he decides to kill her.

Norman cleaned her room, wiped the blood and removed the body as no one was there before and continue to work on his motel duties as usual. But shortly after that the police investigator takes a job to find the missing secretary with he 40,000$ stolen and they somehow arrive to Bates motel to search for her and this is where the real fun begins.

I can only go till here, the rest of the story is full of spoilers and may reveal the ending plot which is amazing. As I said for the human psychology, the big house has a basement, first floor and attic. By Slavoj Zizek, that means that the human brain section divided into Id, ego and super ego and once you see the movie in that direction then you will see how brilliant director Alfred Hitchcock is.
