Bueno la verdad es que tenía un tiempo libre, y quería ver una película, ya que tengo muchos animes que no he visto pero tenía ganas de algo distinto, para variar un poco. Pero a la vez quería una de esas películas animadas en las que DC y Warner se destacan tanto. Entonces encontré este título. El cual me llamo la atención ya que me gustan las películas que hablan sobre la segunda guerra mundial y los superhéroes y al juntarlos nada podría salir ma. Eso fue lo que pensé y no podía estar más alejado de la realidad, luego al leer la sinopsis dije “Aghh ¿otra vez flash arruinando líneas de tiempo? ¿Porque no solo muestran a la sociedad de la justicia durante la segunda guerra mundial? Sin irrupciones de personajes de otras épocas, con eso solo consiguen arruinar todo.” Entonces recordé la película Flashpoint. Y esa película me gustó mucho entonces dije “Bueno… Es una animación… No tienen las mismas limitaciones de una película de acción viva por lo que promete mucho,” Entonces me dispuse a verla.

Well the truth is that I had some time off, and I wanted to watch a movie, since I have a lot of anime that I haven't seen but I was in the mood for something different, for a bit of a change. But at the same time I wanted one of those animated movies in which DC and Warner stand out so much. Then I found this title. Which caught my attention because I like movies that talk about the second world war and superheroes and when you put them together nothing could go wrong. That's what I thought and it couldn't be further from the truth, then when I read the synopsis I said "Aghh flash ruining timelines again? Why don't they just show the justice society during WWII? No irruptions of characters from other eras, with that they just manage to ruin everything." Then I remembered the movie Flashpoint. And I really liked that movie so I said "Well... It's an animation... They don't have the same limitations of a live action movie so it promises a lot," So I set out to see it.

En esta película no sé si el estilo de dibujo y animación me gusta o me disgusta, porque el estilo de dibujo está inspirado en los comics de la era de oro de los comics y la vedad es que ese estilo me gusta mucho, pero hay ocasionas en las queda muy mal, como cuando hacen un primer plano o en algunas animaciones de batalla. Los movimientos son poco fluidos, esto se puede atribuir al estilo de dibujo, pero he visto animaciones de bajo presupuesto con ese estilo de dibujo que han quedado mucho mejor. Y en cuanto a los enfoques hay veces en que decía “¿Quién es ese personaje?” Luego de verlos a cuerpo completo decía “Ah es Flash, Superman, wonderwoman, etc.”

In this movie I don't know if I like or dislike the drawing and animation style, because the drawing style is inspired by the comics of the golden age of comics and the truth is that I like that style a lot, but there are times when it looks very bad, like when they do a close-up or in some battle animations. The movements are not very fluid, this can be attributed to the drawing style, but I have seen low budget animations with that style of drawing that have been much better. And as for the approaches there are times when I would say "Who is that character?" After seeing them in full body I would say "Ah it's Flash, Superman, wonderwoman, etc."

Como ya he mencionado la idea al principio me parecía una genialidad pero todo comenzó mal a mi parecer, cuando nos muestran a Barry Allen aka flash teniendo problemas con su pareja por su identidad secreta de superhéroes. Ósea ¿Hay algo más gastado? Y el argumento de que la película se ubica en otra época no me convence ya que fue hecha en 2021 y muy bien pudieron hacer que sus problemas de pareja se debieran a otra cosa.

Y no solo eso, todo el argumento de la guerra y el viaje en el tiempo parece ser opacado para que flash resuelva sus problemas de pareja, esto al ver la película lo entenderán . Aun sin leer la sinopsis al ver a Flash Desde el inicio ya te sabes la trama, bueno admito que esto es solo si sigues las historias de DC de cualquier universo, pero si no lo haces no vas a entender mucho de la película tampoco así que no sé a qué público quisieron llegar. Continuando con lo que decía el argumento de la guerra es sostenido pero la trama cada vez se vuelve más obvia hasta el punto en el que cuando ocurría algún plot twist yo decía sarcásticamente “Vaya… que sorpresa” o “Eso fue muy predecible” aparte de otros puntos que por no hacer spoilers no tocare.

Los momentos que se suponían debían ser memorables eran muy… mehh 😫 … No tengo ningún problema con que haya romance en una película de superhéroes, pero esto es solo si está bien introducido. Aquí todo el romance se siente muy forzado y fuera de lugar, haciendo así que los sacrificios que ocurren no signifiquen nada para el espectador.

As I mentioned the idea at first seemed like genius but it all started off wrong in my opinion, when we are shown Barry Allen aka flash having problems with his partner because of his secret superhero identity. I mean is there anything more worn out? And the argument that the movie is set in another era doesn't convince me since it was made in 2021 and they could have very well made his relationship problems to be due to something else. And not only that, the whole argument of the war and time travel seems to be overshadowed for flash to solve their couple problems, this when you see the movie you will understand it. . Even without reading the synopsis when you see Flash from the beginning you already know the plot, well I admit this is only if you follow DC stories from any universe, but if you don't you won't understand much of the movie either so I don't know what audience they wanted to reach. Continuing with what I was saying the war plot is sustained but the plot becomes more and more obvious to the point where when some plot twist happened I would sarcastically say "Wow... what a surprise" or "That was very predictable" apart from other points that for the sake of not making spoilers I won't touch. The moments that were supposed to be memorable were very... mehh 😫 ... I have no problem with there being romance in a superhero movie, but that's only if it's well introduced. Here all the romance feels very forced and out of place, thus making the sacrifices that occur mean nothing to the viewer.

Bueno creo que con todo lo anterior ya deben tener una pista muy grande sobre mi opinión de la película pero como dijo Maes Hughes en FMA y ya he dicho en otro post: “¿Sabes? Nada es malo al 100% realmente”. Creo que la historia para alguien que no le tiene grandes expectativas a la película puede resultar entretenida, como dije el estilo de dibujo me gusta pero no mucho la animación. Y creo que este al tratarse de un nuevo universo puede mejorar en el futuro. También en cuanto a ciertos poderes y resistencias a ellos hay ciertas… incoherencias. Excepto en lo referente a los poderes de flash y por qué se debilitaban eso si me gusto. ¡Vieron! encontré algo bueno. Maes Hughes tenía razón La verdad es que no recomiendo la película a menos que la vean por simple curiosidad, o para poder quejarse o defenderla con bases. Pero si buscas una buena película de superhéroes que ver, búscala en otra parte,

Well I think with all the above you should already have a very big clue about my opinion of the movie but as Maes Hughes said in FMA and I have already said in another post: "You know, nothing is 100% bad really". I think the story for someone who doesn't have high expectations from the movie can be entertaining, as I said the drawing style I like but not so much the animation. And I think that this being a new universe can be improved in the future. Also regarding certain powers and resistances to them there are certain... inconsistencies. Except when it comes to flash's powers and why they were weakened I liked that. They saw! I found something good. Maes Hughes was right I really don't recommend the movie unless you're watching it out of simple curiosity, or so you can complain or defend it on grounds.
