En esta ocasión les traigo una sincera opinión que no será del todo positiva, ya que mi serie favorita fue víctima de la mala dirección y producción que busca revivir lo que ya se había concluido para lograr obtener ganancias de la famosa "nostalgia", la cual considero que es una innecesaria perdida de recursos y un proyecto carente de objetivo, el cual desafortunadamente termina por masacrar nuestros recuerdos que habíamos atesorado al momento de haber sintonizado nuestro programa favorito. No siempre se tendrá éxitos en el mundo del cine, pero tampoco es malo hablar sobre nuestras experiencias que no fueron del todo armoniosas y por ello me encuentro escribiendo mi sentir al respecto.
On this occasion I bring you a sincere opinion that will not be entirely positive, since my favorite series was a victim of bad direction and production that seeks to revive what had already been concluded to achieve profits from the famous "nostalgia", which I consider to be an unnecessary waste of resources and a project lacking in objective, which unfortunately ends up massacring our memories that we had treasured at the time of having tuned in to our favorite program. We will not always be successful in the world of cinema, but it is also not bad to talk about our experiences that were not entirely harmonious and that is why I am writing my feelings about it.

Hoy vengo a desahogar mi decepción y coraje al ver la película de: Zoey 102, la cual busca retomar la vida de una pequeña fracción del elenco de dicha serie, después de 10 años de desarrollo del personaje, los cuales no a todos les sentó bien dicho tiempo, cayendo en un constante ciclo de agonía y destrucción de lo icónico que fuese su participación por allá del año 2005. Volveremos a tener un reencuentro de los protagonistas: Zoey Brooks, Chase Matthews, Michael Barret, Quinn Pensky, Logan Reese, Stacy Dillsen y Mark Del Figgalo; los únicos integrantes que al parecer aceptaron participar en esta disparatada idea, sin considerar o reflexionar al menos si valdría la pena el tiempo invertido...

El motivo sobre dicho encuentro se enfocará en uno de los eventos que la verdad era el menos esperado de los fanáticos, LA BODA DE QUINN Y LOGAN; dejando de lado esa trama que en lo particular para mí fue lo más rescatable, a pesar de que dichos protagonistas se robarán los reflectores en la historia, el demás elenco no terminó de aportar nada útil a la trama que se intentó construir, ya que para mí fue una masacre de historias inconclusas y que no fueron para nada épicas a pesar de ser la resurrección de la serie más popular que tuvo Nickelodeon. Buscaron da una dosis de "comedia de la vieja escuela" pero terminaron por convertir a los personajes en seres "poco racionales e inmaduros", incapaces de superar sus etapas de desarrollo y aferrarse a la imagen de tener la vida resuelta en dos sencillos pasos.
The reason for this meeting will focus on one of the events that was the least expected by the fans, QUINN AND LOGAN'S WEDDING; Leaving aside that plot that in particular for me was the most redeemable, although these protagonists will steal the spotlight in the story, the other cast did not end up contributing anything useful to the plot that was tried to build, since for me it was a massacre of unfinished stories and that were not epic at all despite being the resurrection of the most popular series that Nickelodeon had. They sought to give a dose of "old school comedy" but ended up turning the characters into "unrational and immature" beings, unable to overcome their developmental stages and clinging to the image of having their lives solved in two simple steps.

Esta crítica en verdad ha sido una daga en mi corazón por considerarme fanática de dicha serie que marco una parte importante en mi juventud, no esperaba nada y aun así termino por decepcionarme... Es probable que existan personas que no estén de todo de acuerdo conmigo, pero ese es el verdadero objetivo de este tipo de espacios, compartir y conocer la diversidad de opiniones de lo que nosotros como cinéfilos consumimos y buscar resignación de los tropiezos en el camino o celebración de los éxitos en el mismo. Gracias por leerme y espero te sirva esta pequeña reflexión personal.
This review has really been a dagger in my heart because I consider myself a fan of this series that marked an important part of my youth, I did not expect anything and yet I ended up being disappointed... It is likely that there are people who do not agree with me at all, but that is the true objective of this type of space, to share and know the diversity of opinions of what we as moviegoers consume and seek resignation of the stumbles on the road or celebration of successes in it.
