Saludos queridos Hivers! El día de hoy les hablaré sobre uno de mis doramas favoritos que pueden encontrar en Netflix: Itaewon Class.
Itaewon Class cuenta la historia de Park Sae-ro-yi, un joven que para defender a uno de sus compañeros de fuerte bullying, golpea al hijo de un hombre muy poderoso dueño de la cadena de restaurantes Jang Ga, la más famosa en Seúl, y quien además es el jefe de su padre. Saeroyi se niega a disculparse debido a sus principios, y esto ocasiona que lo expulsen de la escuela y que despidan a su padre. Posteriormente el protagonista se ve envuelto en otros incidentes donde su padre muere y termina en prisión por un par de años, sospechando que el culpable de todo incluyendo la muerte de su padre es el dueño de esta cadena de restaurantes.
Greetings dear Hivers! Today I will tell you about one of my favorite dramas that you can find on Netflix: Itaewon Class. Itaewon Class tells the story of Park Sae-ro-yi, a young man who, in order to defend one of his colleagues from strong bullying, beats the son of a very powerful man who owns the Jang Ga restaurant chain, the most famous in Seoul. and who is also the boss of his father. Saeroyi refuses to apologize due to his principles, resulting in him being expelled from school and his father being fired. Later the protagonist is involved in other incidents where his father dies and ends up in prison for a couple of years, suspecting that the culprit of everything including his father's death is the owner of this restaurant chain.
La serie se desarrolla unos años luego de estos incidentes, cuando Saeroyi sale de prisión y comienza a elaborar su venganza, queriendo montar su propia cadena de restaurantes que sea lo suficientemente buena como para tumbar a Jang Ga de su trono.
Itaewon Class se llama así ya que el restaurante lo monta en Itaewon, un barrio de Seúl que es famoso por su diversidad, es un sitio que frecuentan muchos extranjeros.
The series takes place a few years after these incidents, when Saeroyi is released from prison and begins to work out his revenge, wanting to start his own chain of restaurants that is good enough to topple Jang Ga from his throne. Itaewon Class is so called because the restaurant is set up in Itaewon, a neighborhood in Seoul that is famous for its diversity, it is a place that many foreigners frequent.
Esta serie la vi en solo dos días con mi hija, a ambas nos encantó, siempre se las arregla para que quieras ver el otro capítulo.
Lo mejor de Itaewon son sus personajes, Saeroyi para montar su restaurante se rodea de un grupo de personajes geniales y que no puedes evitar amar... Otra cosa que me impresionó mucho fue que esta serie tocó muchos temas que no son recurrentes en doramas coreanos, como la transexualidad o el racismo.
I watched this series in just two days with my daughter, we both loved it, she always manages to make you want to see the other chapter. The best thing about Itaewon are its characters, Saeroyi to set up his restaurant surrounds himself with a group of great characters that you can't help but love ... Another thing that impressed me a lot was that this series touched on many themes that are not recurring in Korean dramas , such as transsexuality or racism.
Itaewon Class es sobre tener segundas oportunidades en la vida, de trabajar duro y de ser fiel a uno mismo. El personaje principal logra sus sueños a través del trabajo duro y es realmente inspirador. No quería que este drama coreano terminara porque me encariñé mucho con los personajes, todos en el elenco son increíbles y estoy seguro de que a ustedes también les encantarán.
Itaewon class is about second chances, about hard work and being true to yourself. The main character achieves his dreams through hard work and it is truly inspiring. I did not want this Korean drama to end because I got so attached to the characters, everyone in the cast is amazing and I'm sure you'll love them too!
