I hope you are watching a good series right now, if not, I'm here as usual leaving a good review, this time to tell you about The Rain, a Netflix apocalyptic series that consists of only three seasons with 20 episodes in total and is extremely short, ideal to watch for a couple of days at home. if you like fiction series with a touch of suspense, with a post-apocalyptic plot, this series is ideal.
La historia de esta serie, se centra en dos hermanos, Simone y Rasmus, dos jóvenes que luchan por sobrevivir en medio de una sociedad devastada por un virus mortal que se transmite a través de la lluvia. Su padre los dejó hace seis años atrás encerrados en un búnker bajo tierra para cuidarlos sin saber lo que iba a ocurrir después, y con una misión importante: proteger al pequeño Rasmus, que desde el inicio sabemos es el centro de la historia y la cura para tal desastre. Esta trama no es nada que no hayamos visto antes, un escenario posterior a la destrucción del mundo como lo conocemos y un virus que amenaza a los pocos que continúan con vida. The story of this series focuses on two brothers, Simone and Rasmus, two young people struggling to survive in the midst of a society devastated by a deadly virus transmitted through the rain. Su trama parte básicamente en que tiene un objetivo central y es detener la propagación de virus a través de la lluvia, por tanto, estos hermanos años después se aventuran a salir del búnker y buscar nuevas oportunidades de vida, considerando que ya no tenían recursos estando encerrados ahí durante ese largo tiempo. En ese instante es donde conocen a otras personas que van a acompañarles en toda su travesía en la búsqueda de una solución eficaz para erradicar dicho virus. donde en un principio todo era un desorden donde pocos eran los que seguían con vida, llegan a crear un vinculo entre ellos a manera de poder mantener su supervivencia.
Its plot basically has a central objective and that is to stop the spread of the virus through the rain, therefore, these brothers years later venture out of the bunker and seek new opportunities for life, considering that they no longer had resources being locked up there for that long time. At that moment is where they meet other people who will accompany them throughout their journey in search of an effective solution to eradicate the virus. Where at first everything was a mess where few were those who were still alive, they come to create a bond between them in order to maintain their survival.
Esta serie mantiene un escenario bastante limitado a los acontecimientos y con escenas un poco comunes a lo que conocemos como una extinción de la raza humana debido a algún agente externo, sin embargo, no es lo que trata de capturar la serie, porque con pocos personajes y en pocos episodios, logran captar la atención del público, siendo así una serie que se deja ver e interpretar fácilmente. Así que no hay excusa para dejar de verla, solo si es para terminarla.
This series maintains a scenario quite limited to the events and with scenes a little common to what we know as an extinction of the human race due to some external agent, however, it is not what tries to capture the series, because with few characters and in a few episodes, they manage to capture the attention of the public, thus being a series that is easily watched and interpreted. So there is no excuse to stop watching it, only if it is to finish it.
Por otro lado, uno de los detalles que llega a tener la serie en un punto es que se hace predecible, de tal manera que sabemos como irá transcurriendo un episodio en particular, no sucede en todos, pero sí se mantiene en esa onda, se debe más que todo a que son pocos los episodios emitidos por temporada y por mantener una cronología bastante buena, llega incluso a abusar algunas veces con los flashbacks, siendo necesarios para entender a cada personaje en particular.
On the other hand, one of the details that the series comes to have at one point is that it becomes predictable, so that we know how a particular episode will go, it does not happen in all, but it does keep in that wave, it is mostly because there are few episodes broadcast per season and to maintain a fairly good chronology, it even abuses sometimes with flashbacks, being necessary to understand each character in particular.
