Continuing with the monthly quest, in the previous post I told you about Sakura Cardcaptor, a very sweet anime suitable for children. Today I will share my opinion about Pokémon, that anime/video game that marked the childhood of millions of children and even an entire culture.

Synopsis

Created by Satoshi Tajiri, Junichi Masuda and Ken Sugimori in 1997, Pokémon is an adventure, action and fantasy anime that centers its story on Ash Ketchum, a young boy of just 10 years old who has a single dream to become a Pokémon Master. He lives in Pallet Town in a world where the normal fauna are those fantastic creatures called Pokémon, which have powerful types and abilities, as well as can be trained or live in their natural habitat freely.

To be a master, Ash must capture and train as many Pokémon as possible, as well as try to get Pokémon gym medals through different battles, which will earn him experience and recognition.

Along with movies, OVA's and the anime itself, the story is based on the concept of the Pokémon video game, where the objective is to catch all the Pokémon. At the beginning there were only 150, but later this number increased over the course of 9 generations, until it reached approximately 1,008 Pokémon.

Therefore, Ash's dream is quite difficult since he not only tries to reach that enormous amount but also must prove that he is a good trainer, properly caring for and attending to his Pokémon as well as fighting each battle strategically. Of course there are obstacles along the way, such as malicious people such as Team Rocket, other competitive trainers who also desire the title of Master, as well as mysteries surrounding Pokémon.

In general, it is a story that grows little by little, discovering more and more details that help to understand that this world is broader than it seems, having a fantastic origin. Apart from discovering each creature, its abilities, the epicness of the battles and the fight between trainers makes everything an exciting and dynamic combination.

Well, the truth is that I consider that there is a lot of creativity in the general design of the Pokémon, obviously in some more than others, but if we take into account the large number that there are, it is understandable that some are not very different from a common animal.

However, I consider that each one has its magic, being quite endearing creatures, even the largest and most imposing ones. You really get attached to everyone, including the human trainers because in general the plot is responsible for creating characters that are pleasing to the public.

Although the premise is certainly not very deep, for me this exciting story does manage to convey important messages such as perseverance, optimism, hard work, rewarded effort, seeking to improve more and more, setting clear purposes and goals, trusting in yourself and learn the value of friendship.

You may consider these messages quite cliché, but for a child they can be valuable lessons that they learn almost without realizing it since at first glance it seems like an anime to simply enjoy the adventure.

There is actually a reason why Pokémon is probably the most recognized anime of all time (or at least one of them), just as there is a reason why every time a new video game, movie, or playable card set is released, people continue to consume this content: Pokémon managed to transmit pleasant emotions along with meaningful messages that built a memorable story.

I still remember my three-year-old self dying to have a Pikachu stuffed animal, excited to see if in the next chapter Ash would get the gym medal and always thinking that the best Pokémon were the fire type (I still maintain that position).

The truth is that this is a great anime so that any child can watch and feel the same excitement with the fantasy-filled adventure and also learn valuable lessons that can work in real life.

Continuando con la iniciativa del mes, en el post anterior les hablé de Sakura Cardcaptor, un anime muy dulce apto para niños. Hoy les comentaré mi opinión sobre Pokémon, ese anime/videojuego que marcó la infancia de millones de niños e incluso a una cultura completa.

Sinopsis

Creado por Satoshi Tajiri, Junichi Masuda y Ken Sugimori en 1997, Pokémon es un anime de aventura, acción y fantasía que centra su historia en Ash Ketchum, un joven niño de apenas 10 años que tiene un único sueño convertirse en Maestro Pokémon. Él vive en el Pueblo Paleta en un mundo donde la fauna normal son esas criaturas fantásticas llamadas Pokémons, los cuales tienen tipos y habilidades poderosas, así como pueden ser entrenados o vivir en su hábitat natural libremente.

Para ser un maestro, Ash debe capturar y entrenar tantos Pokémons como le sea posible, así como intentar conseguir las medallas de los gimnasios Pokémon a través de distintas batallas, lo que hará que gane experiencia y reconocimiento.

Junto a películas, OVA's y el anime en sí, la historia está basada en el concepto del videojuego de Pokémon, donde el objetivo es atrapar a todos los Pokémons. Al inicio eran solamente 150, pero luego este número fue incrementado con el curso de 9 generaciones, hasta alcanzar aproximadamente 1.008 Pokémons.

Por tanto, el sueño de Ash es bastante difícil puesto que no sólo intenta alcanzar esa enorme cantidad sino que también debe demostrar que es un buen entrenador, cuidando y atendiendo adecuadamente a sus Pokémons así como luchando cada batalla de manera estratégica. Por supuesto hay trabas en el camino, como personas maliciosas tal como El equipo Rocket, otros entrenadores competitivos que también desean el título de Maestro, así como misterios alrededor de los Pokémons.

En general es una historia que va creciendo poco a poco, descubriendo cada vez más detalles que ayudan a comprender que este mundo es más amplio de lo que parece, teniendo un origen fantástico. Aparte el descubrir cada criatura, sus habilidades, lo épico de las batallas y la lucha entre entrenadores hace que todo sea una combinación emocionante y dinámica.

Pues la verdad considero que hay bastante creatividad en el diseño general de los Pokémon, obviamente en unos más que otros, pero si tenemos en cuenta la gran cantidad que hay es comprensible que algunos no sean muy diferentes a un animal común.

Sin embargo, considero que cada uno tiene su magia siendo criaturas bastante entrañables, incluso los más grandes e imponentes. Realmente te llegas a encariñar con todos, también con los humanos entrenadores porque en general la trama se encarga de formar personajes agradables para el público.

Aunque ciertamente la premisa no es muy profunda, para mí está emocionante historia sí logra transmitir mensajes importantes como la perseverancia, el optimismo, el trabajo duro, esfuerzo recompensado, el buscar mejorar cada vez más, marcar propósitos y metas claras, confiar en ti mismo y aprender lo valioso de la amistad.

Es posible que consideres estos mensajes como algo bastante cliché, pero para un niño pueden ser lecciones valiosas que aprende casi sin darse cuenta puesto que a primera vista parece un anime para simplemente disfrutar de la aventura.

En realidad hay un motivo por el que Pokémon sea probablemente el anime más reconocido (o al menos uno de ellos), así como también hay un motivo por el cual cada vez que se lanza algún nuevo videojuego, película, o set de cartas jugables, las personas siguen consumiendo este contenido: Pokémon logró transmitir emociones placenteras junto a mensajes significativos que construyeron una historia memorable.

Todavía recuerdo a mi yo niña de tres años muriendo por tener un peluche de Pikachu, emocionada por ver si en el siguiente capítulo Ash conseguiría la medalla del gimnasio y siempre pensando que los mejores Pokémons eran los tipo fuego (aún mantengo esa postura).

Lo cierto es que este es un anime genial para que cualquier niño pueda ver y sentir la misma emoción con la aventura llena de fantasía y que además aprenda lecciones valiosas que pueden funcionar en la vida real.

Es complicado opinar, (un amigo me paso la serie en disco duro y comence a verla) al comienzo era interesante y divertido verlo hacer lo imposible por vencer lideres de gimnasio.

Luego pues añadían mas y mas temporadas, lo que hacia que el Team rocket fuera algo monótono como capitulo de Power rangers llegando a molestar.

El dilema es que cuando batallaba por campeonatos, siempre lo hacian perder o quedaba de un 3° o 4° Lugar.

Efectivamente el problema radica en que cada vez que sacaban otra nueva temporada, con otrass islas y pokemons nuevos, al Ash le reseteaban ese Picachu a nivel cero. Pues no importa que tanto haya progresado antes, ese pikachu no mantenia el nivel como es debido.

Al final perdi el interes cuando me vi el spoiler de que lo hicieron perder una final en Pokemon Xyz en miles de youtubers reaccionando.

ese dia el mundo ardio en llamas y el estudio casi es linchado a nivel mundial, miles de fans ofendidos no les agrado verlo perder luego de tanto esfuerzo.

Se que el estudio por contentar a los fans luego de esa batalla final, dio un respiro con el beso de Serena a Ash en el aeropuerto.

Luego el estudio decidio jamas animar mas pokemon por todo el odio recibido.

Por eso las ultimas temporadas sufrieron un cambio drastico de animacion.

En fin, deje de ver la serie como en la 2 temporada y me limite a jugar el juego de cartas que es lo unico que me interesa. La serie la descarte porque no valio la pena. Motivo: jamas se volvio maestro pokemon, jamas se quedo con 1 de las chicas como esposa y nunca lleno la pokedex.

Gracias a Arceux deje de mirar la serie que me prestaron en disco duro.
