En el mundo de las festividades, Jack es el Rey Calabaza, las festividades se dividen en mundo, Jack claramente es del mundo de Halloween, Halloween Town es un pueblito que está habitado por monsturos, fantasmas, zombies, demonios, vampiros y brujas,Jack es admirados por todos en su pueblo, pero este se siente cansado de la misma rutina, de su mundo, un mundo bastante oscuro y sombrío, un día tomando un paseo con su perro consigue un camino que nunca antes había visto, con árboles frondosos llenos de nieve, este lugar se llama Christmas Town, que es el pueblito de las festividades navideñas.
Jack queda fascinado y regresa a su pueblo a contarles a todos sobre este mundo tan increíble que acaba de conocer, por lo que deciden este año celebrar esa festividad también, decide convertirse en Santa Claus, hacen regalos y cambian todo a como están acostumbrados, ocasionando así que la navidad en el mundo de esta festividad esté apunto de acabar. El villano de esta historia es ** Mr. Hurdy Gurd** que el plan de este si es arruinar la navidad.
Jack es todo lo contrario al Grinch, este amó tanto la navidad que decidió hacerla como el pensaba que será perfecta, cuando pequeña pensaba que su plan era arruinar la navidad o así era que la recordaba, pero ahorita que la vi de nuevo me di cuenta que es todo lo contrario, quería era seré parte de ella, se enamoró de esta, de sus tradiciones, su temática, sus colores.
Esta es una película increíble porque aborda las dos festividades más conocidas y aunque hace tiempo tenían pensando abordar las otras festividades, la idea de rechazo y sinceramente creo que fue la mejor opción, ya que la idea era que Jack explotara los demás mundos, entonces sería más de lo mismo.
Su animación es increíble, las películas de stop-motion son de mis favoritas, si por eso siempre es impecable, usaron más de 400 cabezas nada más para Jack para que fuera un personaje bastante expresivo. su historia es simple pero es muy original, dejando personajes que amamos y que son nuestra inspiración para Halloween. Pero desde Octubre hasta Diciembre Jack es parte de nuestras decoraciones, creando unas decoraciones muy lindas y llamativas.
Lo chistoso de todo esto, es que siempre he sido tan miedosa que Halloween me daba mucho miedo, las películas de Disney de Halloween me daban mucho terror, Jack era una de ellas😂 y ahora que crecí me di cuenta que solo era una niña miedosa, porque no dan terror ningunas de las películas que me daban miedo.
