Monster House es una película de terror animada por computadora, esta se estrenó en el 2006, se realizó por la captura de movimiento, siendo la segunda película animada de esta manera (la primera fue expreso polar), está fue nominada a un Óscar como mejor película animada, aquí se las resumo unos pocos minutos❤️
La película empieza con una pequeña niña que va en su triciclo está de quede sin querer atascada en el césped, cuando esto pasa sale un señor, dueño de la casa del patio donde la niña se atasco, sale todo enojado gritando y corriendo a la niña, este agarra el triciclo de la niña y lo rompe, se lo lleva y la niña se va llorando.
De aquí nos muestran a DJ un niño que se quedará con su niñera debido a que sus padres se van de viaje, seguido conocemos a su mejor amigo Chowder, hablan y rato, se ponen a jugar básquet y sin querer se les va el balón hasta la casa de nuestro vecino misterioso, con miedo y arriesgándose DJ decide buscar el balón y en eso sale en señor Nebbercracker, DJ por huir de este le rompe el césped, se enoja aun más, lo persigue y lo levanta gritándole, por la gran edad que aparenta tener este señor le da un infarto, cayendo sobre DJ como si ya no tuviera vida.
De la nada la chimenea de la casa se enciende y llega una ambulancia, cuando se intentan llevar al señor el césped intenta impedirlo, se llevan al señor y los niños quedan bastante preocupados ya que mataron al señor.
En eso llega una niñera que se ve muy amigable, pero es solo un disfraz para tener más trabajos de niñera, ya que en realidad es una chica desinteresada y algo gotica, empieza a amenazarlo y este se encierra en su habitación. Empieza a tener algunas pesadillas debido a lo qué pasó pero lo despierta una llamada misteriosa, nadie habla y cuando devuelve la llamada suena la casa de su vecino.
Aparece el amigo de la niñera y lo asusta, DJ decide contarles todo lo que está pasando, pero claro no le creen, así que decide hablar con su mejor amigo y deciden verse. Se encuentran la niñera y amigo de la niñera y le empieza a contar que cuando pequeño su cometa entro a la casa y el señor se la llevo, que lo llego ver hablando con la casa y que se comió a su esposa. La niñera lo corre de la casa y este se va directo a la casa del vecino y empieza a atacar la casa, la casa abre su puerta y muestra su cometa, este se acerca y la agarra, en eso la casa se lo lleva.
En lo que esto pasa DJ se escapa con su amigo a una tienda de juegos, en donde Chowder por demostrarle a su amigo que en esa casa no pasa nada decide tocar el timbre, bromea un poco y luego lo hace, en eso La casa abre su puesta y se le empiezan a ver dientes, sale una alfombra que aparenta ser su lengua y los persigue, estos logran escapar, estos no duermen en toda la noche espiando la casa, cuando ven a otra niña intentando vender galegas y pasa por la casa, los chicos van corriendo a detenerla mientras la casa se comienza a transformar y casi se la come.
Sale la niñera y la casa vuelve a la normalidad, se van al cuarto y hablan con Jenny, siguen espiando la casa y en eso un perrito se va al jardín de esta casa y se lo traga, los chicos se acercan a la casa y está les sala el balón de Chowder hasta qué pasa la policía y todo vuelve a estar como si nada.
Los niños hablan con la policía y ellos claramente no le creen, tientan un poco la casa pero todo está como si nada, se consiguen un chamo que les empieza a hablar de casas que se transforman con seres humanos, ahí piensan que el señor Nebbercracker es la casa, por lo que intentan destruir la casa atacando al corazón.
Empiezan a ideal un plan en donde buscan gran cantidad de jarabes para dormir la casa (la farmacia que robaron es la del papá de Chowder), crean un muñeco lleno de jarabe para que la casa se lo coma y así logren dormirla, cuando intentan hacer que se lo coma llega la policía, los regañan y se los llevan, pero antes de irse escuchan un ruido e intentan ver que es, la casa asusta a uno de ellos y luego agarra a ambos y se los comen, también se come a los chicos que estaban en la patrulla.

En ese momento la casa se despierta, se intentan esconder entre los juguetes, aparece el balón de Chowder, este se pone a jugar con él y la casa lo agarra, todos están a punto de caer por la garganta de la casa, Jenny se agarra de la úvula y la casa los vomita.

El señor está triste pero a l vez feliz, porque el y todos pueden ser libres, y no tener ningún miedo por la casa Ya que duró más de 30 años cuidando que esta no atacara a nadie, todos los juguetes y cosas que ella casa se comía se quedan en donde está estaba, por lo que todos salen y los demás empiezan a buscar sus juguetes y así termina esta película.
Cuando estaba pequeña esta película me daba mucho miedo, pero de todas formas siempre me gustaba verla, esta se puede considerar que es una comedia terrorífica, es acta para todo público, ya que en realidad no es que de miedo, es bastante buena y me parece que fue una idea innovadora.
