Esta serie nos muestra la perturbadora historia de Jeffrey Dahmer, un necrofilo, canibal que mató a más de 15 personas, entre esas sólo hombres, ya que esto le generaba bastante satisfacción, vemos un poco como fue su vida y como poco a poco se iba volviendo el asesino que llegó a ser.
La serie empieza con le hombre que logró escaparse y con el que lo lograron atraparlo, este huye y Dahmer se queda tranquilo, ya que en múltiples ocasiones, sus víctimas escapaban y este siempre se salía con la suya, por lo general eran hombres negros e inmigrantes por lo que los policías siempre le creían al hombre estadounidense blanco.
Dahmer era un pequeño obsesionados por la taxidermia, Hobbie que heredo de su padre, Dahmer le encantaba experimentar con animales muertos, era un niño introvertido y raro, sus padres no se quería, se la vivían peleando todo el tiempo, su padre siempre se la pasaba trabajando y su madre se muestra que abusaba de medicamentos.
Dahmer seducía a sus víctimas en bares Gays, al principio de lo llevaba a moteles donde los drogaba hasta dejarlos inconscientes, pero cuando los encargados se dieron cuenta de esto le prohibieron la entrada, es ahí cuando los empieza a invitar a su casa, en donde los hacía ver dos de sus películas favoritas, para luego matarlos, abusar de ellos y luego comerlos, los descuartizaba, derretía algunas partes en ácido para conservar sus huesos y hacer un altar con ellos.
Este no controlaba sus impulsos y el deseo de posesión lo cegaba, su primera muerte fue un joven de 19 años al que le ofreció darle el aventon, pero antes lo invito a tomarse unas cervezas, cuando este se quiso ir lo mato porque no se quería quedar solo.
Su cuerpo lo descuertizo y enterró en el patio de la casa de su padre, estaba asustado, era el inicio de su vida criminal. No lo hizo durante algunos años más, pero luego de darse cuenta que nunca lo atrapaban lo hizo despiadadamente, sin preocupaciones y cumpliendo sus fantasías.
Finalmente lo atrapan, es condenado a 15 cadenas perpetuas, en donde pasó algunos años para luego ser asesinado en la cárcel.
Está serie logra causarte la ansiedad y lo más importante, no logras encariñarte con el asesino, cosa qué pasa en muchas de las series y películas inspiradas de asesinos.
La actuación de Evan Peters es increíble, logra darte miedo, sientes angustia por las víctimas, te da una repulsión cuando come la carne humana, cuando busca trabajo en un laboratorio solo para lograr robarse bolsas de sangre y beberlas.
Te genera pesadillas, todo es tan frió, que piensas que es imposible que exista gente así de retorcida, te das cuenta que la realidad siempre supera la ficción, que no hay nada que aterre más que un ser humano, por ello siempre dicen, no hay que tenerle vivo a los muertos sino a los vivos.
