Black es una de esas obras con las que uno se encuentra y piensa: ¿Cómo no te encontré antes? 😚
De todos modos agradeces haberla elegido aquella vez que no tenías nada que ver, porque te das cuenta que más que una serie para sobrellevar el aburrimiento se ha convirtido en una historia inolvidable.
Después de algunos meses de haberla visto he decidido traerla hasta acá para compartir con ustedes datos acerca de esta serie y mi percepción de la misma.

Anyway, you're thankful you chose it that time when you had nothing to watch, because you realize that more than a series to cope with boredom, it has become an unforgettable story.
After a few months of watching it, I have decided to bring it here to share with you some facts about this series and my perception of it.

Es una serie surcoreana de Studio Dragon que mezcla el suspenso, la fantasía, el romance y una pizca de comedia en un drama policíaco lleno de aventuras, y sobre todo, de casos criminales por resolver.
Tiene 18 episodios de más de 1 hora de duración. Al principio pensé que eran muchos, porque estos dramas suelen tener 16. Sin embargo, todos estos episodios fueron muy bien aprovechados, y ninguno está allí en vano.
El guión fue escrito por Choi Ran, y la serie dirigida por Kim Hong-Sun.
It is a South Korean series from Studio Dragon that mixes suspense, fantasy, romance and a dash of comedy in a crime drama full of adventure, and above all, criminal cases to solve.
It has 18 episodes of over 1 hour in length. At first I thought it was a lot, because these dramas usually have 16. However, all these episodes were very well used, and none of them are there in vain.
The script was written by Choi Ran, and the series was directed by Kim Hong-Sun.
De qué trata 🖤 what it is about
Una joven peculiar puede ver la «sombra de la muerte» en las personas, por lo que llama la atención de un detective. Este la motiva a que ayude a las personas con su «poder», y le dice que la va a ayudar.
Sin embargo, un giro inesperado hace que el cuerpo del detective termine siendo ocupado por una de las tantas parcas que vienen a reclamar la vida de las personas cuando ha llegado su fin. Así que, como Ha-Ram está haciendo algo indebido al querer modificar el curso natural de las cosas, la tiene vigilada de cerca para evitar que las altere.
La parca que viaja a este mundo es la 444 y en realidad tiene su propia misión en este mundo, que es encontrar a un compañero que ha huído de... ¿El recinto de la muerte? Para lograrlo debe hacerse pasar por humano, trabajar como detective en una unidad criminal y unirse a Ha-Ram por su poder, a la vez que la vigila.
Después de todo, es nada más y nada menos que la parca.
A peculiar young woman can see the "shadow of death" in people, so she attracts the attention of a detective. He motivates her to help people with her "power", and tells her that he will help her.
However, an unexpected twist causes the detective's body to end up being occupied by one of the many grim reapers who come to claim the lives of people when their end has come. So, as Ha-Ram is doing something wrong by wanting to modify the natural course of things, he keeps a close eye on her to prevent her from altering them.
The reaper who travels to this world is 444 and actually has his own mission in this world, which is to find a companion who has escaped from.... The death enclosure? To achieve this he must pose as a human, work as a detective in a criminal unit and join Ha-Ram for his power, while keeping an eye on her.
After all, he is nothing more and nothing less than the grim reaper.
Mi crítica y opinión 🖤 My review and opinion
A estas alturas ya deben saber que amé este drama, pero este amor está justificado. Les explicaré:
Desde el principio esta serie me resultó atractiva, porque muestra escenas misteriosas e interesantes sin explicar por qué están allí. Sumando a eso, enseñan a Kan Ha-Ram utilizando su extraño "don", las reacciones a su alrededor y su propia forma de reaccionar al miedo, los comentarios pocos amables y las miradas.
Estos pocos elementos lograron atraparme para continuar mirando, si bien es cierto que no es la primera vez que se encuentra este tipo de personaje relacionado con un aspecto de la muerte.
Cabe aclarar que estas escenas "aleatorias" no están allí sin ningún motivo, por eso insisto en que no desaprovecharon el tiempo de los episodios, sino que empaparon cada segundo de la historia que quieren contar.
Para mí fue súper sencillo apegarme a los personajes principales y deseé conocerlos más, por ello, cuando la trama da un giro inesperado, me quedé pasmada, en cierto modo no me agradó porque fue un cambio brusco recién empezando y no sabía qué esperar.
By now you should know that I loved this drama, but this love is justified. I will explain:
From the beginning this series appealed to me, because it shows mysterious and interesting scenes without explaining why they are there. Adding to that, they show Kan Ha-Ram using his strange "gift", the reactions around him and his own way of reacting to fear, unkind comments and looks.
These few elements managed to catch me to continue watching, although it is true that it is not the first time that this type of character is found related to an aspect of death.
It should be clarified that these "random" scenes are not there for no reason, that's why I insist that they did not waste the time of the episodes, but soaked every second of the story they want to tell.
It was super easy for me to get attached to the main characters and I wanted to get to know them more, so when the plot takes an unexpected turn, I was stunned, in a way I didn't like it because it was a sudden change just starting and I didn't know what to expect.
No obstante, fue un giro acertado, y terminé acostumbrándome aún más rápido a un nuevo personaje que aparece tras el telón: 444. Es decir, la parca.
Como la parca tiene que habitar el cuerpo del detective Moo-Gang, el actor tiene que cambiar su personalidad, y es aquí cuando entran escenas hilarantes debido a su proceso de adaptación en el mundo humano.
Debo mencionar que mucho de este humor es algo oscuro, y lo extraño es que pese a eso hay algo de inocencia en este personaje, lo que da más risa, pues ni siquiera él sabe lo que está haciendo mal.
Como el detective, o la parca, necesita a Ha-Ram por sus habilidades, y esta es una chica terca y empeñada en salvar a los demás (lo que choca con la propia existencia de la parca) este es uno de los problemas a los que me llevó la trama.
Sin embargo, es solo la superficie del Iceberg, porque si fuera solo un drama de una chica que intenta salvar a las personas y una parca que intenta detenerla, sinceramente fuera aburrido.
Nevertheless, it was a wise twist, and I ended up getting used even faster to a new character appearing behind the curtain: 444. That is, the grim reaper.
As the reaper has to inhabit Detective Moo-Gang's body, the actor has to change his personality, and this is when hilarious scenes come in due to his process of adaptation in the human world.
I should mention that much of this humor is somewhat dark, and the strange thing is that despite that there is some innocence in this character, which gives more laughter, because even he doesn't know what he is doing wrong.
Since the detective, or reaper, needs Ha-Ram for her skills, and Ha-Ram is a stubborn girl bent on saving others (which clashes with the reaper's own existence) this is one of the problems the plot led me to.
However, it's only the surface of the iceberg, because if it were just a drama of a girl trying to save people and a grim reaper trying to stop her, it would honestly be boring.
Hay mucho más de peso en esta historia que la hace interesante, como el objetivo por el cual la parca está en este mundo, como los casos de asesinatos que tiene que resolver en su trabajo y que entretiene y mantiene la intriga, y por último y como tema principal, el misterio de un caso que pasó hace 20 años atrás.
Hay muchos temas o subtramas en esta serie, me imagino que puede resultar pesado de seguir, aunque en mi caso no fue así.
Algo que me gusta muchísimo es que no es una serie predecible, y aunque hay ciertas cosas que «esperé» siempre estuve dudando de si sucederían o no, porque está tan llena de giros y sospeesas que cualquier cosa puede pasar.
Debido a esto y a que no desperdician los minutos en contar esta historia, los episodios no son repetitivos, sino únicos, y sinceramente antes de que pudiera darme cuenta ya estaba súper enganchada con esta serie, envuelta por completo en la historia.
Recuerdo que en esos días empecé a tener problemas con el internet y sufría mucho al no poder ver los episodios, aunque lo gracioso es que no me di cuenta de lo tanto que me había apegado a la serie hasta que esto pasó, y más aún el que no supiera por qué. Claramente no me estaba decepcionando, pero de igual modo no encontré respuestas en ese momento.

There are many themes or subplots in this series, I imagine it can be heavy to follow, although in my case it was not.
Something that I really like is that it is not a predictable series, and although there are certain things that I "expected" I was always doubting if they would happen or not, because it is so full of twists and turns that anything can happen.
Because of this and because they don't waste minutes on telling this story, the episodes are not repetitive, but unique, and honestly before I could realize it I was already super hooked on this series, completely wrapped up in the story.
I remember in those days I started having problems with the internet and suffered a lot from not being able to watch the episodes, although the funny thing is that I didn't realize how much I had become attached to the series until this happened, and even more so that I didn't know why. It clearly wasn't letting me down, but I still couldn't find answers at the time.
Otra cosa importante que debo mencionar es que los personajes estuvieron muy bien interpretados por parte de los actores, con actuaciones creíbles y nada forzadas, lo que ayuda mucho a la historia.
Esta serie, al tener tantos casos que se entrecruzan entre sí, y se desarrollan digamos que en "capas", me hizo cuestionarme si no era muy rebuscado todo esto, muy exagerado. Si acaso era creíble que un problema pasara a otro plano debido a uno mayor, pese a que funcionaba.
Sinceramente no sé si valoré esto de forma objetiva, porque para este punto la serie ya me tenía a su merced. Tan solo tenía una preocupación, y era que tuviera un final que estuviera a la altura, que no me decepcionara ni me dejara con un mal sabor de boca.
Sabía que terminara de un modo u otro me iba a gustar, porque todo lo me habían enseñado era bueno y porque le cogí cariño, sin embargo no quería un final que me hiciera sentir conforme.
Hablando de finales debo decir que soy partidaria de finales realistas, sean trágicos o no felices, pero debo admitir que esta serie me hizo desear por primera vez un final feliz.
Another important thing I must mention is that the characters were very well played by the actors, with believable and not forced performances, which helps the story a lot.
This series, having so many cases that intertwine with each other, and develop in "layers", made me wonder if it wasn't all too far-fetched, too exaggerated. Whether it was believable that one problem would be shifted to another plane because of a bigger one, even though it worked.
I honestly don't know if I valued this objectively, because by this point the series already had me at its mercy. I only had one concern, and that was that it would have an ending that was up to par, that would not disappoint me or leave me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I knew that I was going to like it one way or another, because everything I had been taught was good and because I was fond of it, but I didn't want an ending that would make me feel satisfied.
Speaking of endings I must say that I am a supporter of realistic endings, be they tragic or unhappy, but I must admit that this series made me wish for the first time for a happy ending.
Digo todo esto porque pienso que este es un gran punto a su favor, que despierta y juega con las emociones del espectador (o por lo menos con las mías) lo que me hizo sentir a gusto viéndola.
Leyendo por allí me di cuenta que algunas personas no quedaron satisfechas con este final porque dicen que hace que se derrumbe el argumento de la trama. Aunque podría ser visto así, sigo creyendo que hay un modo de justificarlo, el problema es que no hay quien confirme o niegue oficialmente lo que uno llegue a pensar.
Para terminar, debo decir que amé esta serie por los motivos anteriores y porque me hizo reír y llorar como loca, porque la historia me mantuvo pegada a la pantalla y me llegó al corazón, deseando que no terminara; porque los personajes y actores lograron hacer que todo se viera muy realista.
Para mí estás son las mejores obras, las que logran tocar las fibras del expectador. Las que no solamente entretienen, sino que te hacen sentir.
Por eso sí, la recomiendo 1000 🌈💜.
I say all this because I think this is a great point in its favor, that it awakens and plays with the viewer's emotions (or at least mine) which made me feel at ease watching it.
Reading around I noticed that some people were not satisfied with this ending because they say it collapses the plot. Although it could be seen that way, I still believe there is a way to justify it, the problem is that there is no one to officially confirm or deny what one comes to think.
In closing, I must say that I loved this series for the above reasons and because it made me laugh and cry like crazy, because the story kept me glued to the screen and touched my heart, wishing it wouldn't end; because the characters and actors managed to make it all look very realistic.
For me these are the best works, the ones that manage to touch the viewer's heartstrings. The ones that not only entertain, but also make you feel.
So yes, I recommend it 1000 🌈💜.

⚫ Kam Ha-Ram es protagonizada por Go Ara, una modelo y actriz surcoreana. El papel que desempeña es el de la joven terca y de buen corazón que puede ver la muerte.
⚫ Han Moo-Gang es protagonizado por Song Seung-Heon, un actor, modelo y cantante surcoreano. Protagoniza al inexperto detective, y posteriormente, al detective poseído por la muerte.
⚫ Oh Man-Soo es interpretado por Kim Dong-Jun, un actor y cantante surcoreano. El papel que hace es el de heredero de una empresa importante en la historia, y jefe y amigo de Kam Ha-Ram.
⚫ Yoon So-Wan es interpretada por Lee El, una actriz que hace de pareja del detective Moo-Gang y de doctora. Sin embargo, no es solamente una empleada del hospital, pues alrededor de ella hay un misterio entretejido.
⚫444 es interpretado por Kim Tae-Woo, un actor de Corea del Sur. A pesar de que interpreta a la parca que ocupa el cuerpo de Moo-Gang todos se olvidan de él porque sale poco en el drama. 🙈
Hay muchísimos más actores, tanto en papeles de buenos como de malos, pero mencionarlos acá sería una tarea muy larga. No acabaría nunca pero sobre todo correría el riesgo de hacer spoiler con ciertas participaciones, algo que prefiero evitar.
