El día de hoy los ayudaré a desempolvar una joyita romántica que vi por primera vez en el 2016 y desde entonces la tengo en mi lista de favoritas, no es una película tan conocida pero todo el que la ve, no la olvida. Se trata de la película
Today I will help you to dust off a romantic gem that I saw for the first time in 2016 and since then I have it in my list of favorites, it is not such a well known movie but everyone who sees it, does not forget it. It is the movie

Fue estrenada en el año 2014 y siendo honesta nunca vi ni un trailer sobre ella, no la espere con ansias y no supe de su existencia hasta dos años después cuando una vecina me la recomendó, desde el comienzo me engancho con una bellísima Lily Collins (Rosie Dunne) como protagonista y a Sam Claflin (Alex Stewart) quienes eran amigos de la infancia y atravesaron toda su adolescencia juntos en un pequeño pueblo de Inglaterra. Esta pelicula esta basada en el libro "Donde termina el arcoiris" escrito por Cecilia Ahern.
It was released in 2014 and to be honest I never saw even a trailer about it, I didn't look forward to it and didn't know about it until two years later when a neighbor recommended it to me, from the beginning I was hooked with a beautiful Lily Collins (Rosie Dunne) as the main character and Sam Claflin (Alex Stewart) who were childhood friends and went through their whole adolescence together in a small town in England. This movie is based on the book "Where the Rainbow Ends" written by Cecilia Ahern.
A pesar de su duradera amistad era bastante obvio que comenzaron a sentir cosas el uno por el otro, provocando celos en Rosie cuando Alex invito a otra chica a el baile del colegio cuando inicialmente había acordado ir con Rosie por su amistad, lo cual sin saberlo dio un giro contundente a toda esta historia, está parte luego me hizo reflexionar mucho porque es increíble cómo una pequeña decisión puede cambiar el rumbo de toda una vida, pero sin ánimos de hacerles más spoiler jaja después de ciertos acontecimientos algo inesperados el futuro que había planeado Rosie en New York con Alex se desvanece porque adivinen qué... Esta embarazada.
Despite their long lasting friendship it was quite obvious that they started to feel things for each other, provoking Rosie's jealousy when Alex invited another girl to the school dance when he had initially agreed to go with Rosie because of their friendship, which unknowingly gave a strong twist to this whole story, this part then made me reflect a lot because it's amazing how a small decision can change the course of a whole life, but without spoilers haha after some unexpected events the future that Rosie had planned in New York with Alex vanishes because guess what? .. She's pregnant.
Escribiendo está parte entendí una cosa y es que hice mi mayor esfuerzo pero lo siento, habrán spoilers jajajajaja. Aunque la situación del embarazo pudo resolverse con algo de comunicación y cuando digo comunicación me refiero a aceptar que está embarazada y decirle que Álex (el cual se supone era su mejor amigo de toda la vida) y no mentirle diciéndole que si irá a New York y que solo está esperando comprar su pasaje, no juzgo ninguna de las ideas que tuvo respecto a dar en adopción al bebé pero siempre he pensado que con la honestidad se llega más lejos, de igual forma estas acciones fueron indispensables para ciertas escenas cómicas de la película.
Writing this part I understood one thing and that is that I did my best but sorry, there will be spoilers hahahahahaha. Although the pregnancy situation could have been solved with some communication and when I say communication I mean accepting that she is pregnant and telling her that Alex (who was supposed to be her lifelong best friend) and not lying to her telling her that she is going to New York and that she is just waiting to buy her ticket, I don't judge any of the ideas she had regarding giving the baby up for adoption but I have always thought that honesty goes further, likewise these actions were indispensable for certain comic scenes in the movie.
Como podrán imaginar Rosie era madre soltera y a pesar de que vivía con sus padres quienes siempre mostraron su apoyo, su sueño de estudiar en NY se había esfumado para siempre y dedicó su vida a trabajar y cuidar de su bebé mientras Alex vivía su vida soñada con todos los lujos en NY, ambos seguían manteniéndose en contacto por correo y así no perderse detalles de su vida.
As you can imagine Rosie was a single mother and although she lived with her parents who always showed their support, her dream of studying in NY was gone forever and she dedicated her life to work and take care of her baby while Alex lived his dream life with all the luxuries in NY, both kept in touch by mail so as not to miss details of her life.
Hasta que un día Greg (el papá de la bebé de Rosie) volvió a el pequeño pueblo en busca de Rosie porque sintió que está listo para formar una familia, todo esto gracias a un arrebato de tristeza de Rosie en el que le envío por correo una foto de la niña (por qué eres así Rosie?). Luego de eso comenzaron a llevar la vida de una familia y hasta de casaron pero su felicidad no duró demasiado y es qué ¿Qué podíamos esperar de un ser que la abandonó cuando estaba embarazada? Nada bueno.
Until one day Greg (Rosie's baby daddy) came back to the small town looking for Rosie because he felt he was ready to start a family, all thanks to an outburst of sadness from Rosie in which she sent him a picture of the girl by mail (why are you like that Rosie?). After that they started to lead the life of a family and even got married but their happiness didn't last too long and what could we expect from a being that abandoned her when she was pregnant? Nothing good.
No quiero seguir contándoles la historia para que se sientan motivados de verla en caso de que no la hayan visto, a mí parecer una película que nos demuestra que quizás puedes tenerlo todo para ser feliz pero si no estás al lado de la persona correcta, nunca lo serás. Aprender de los malos momentos para vivir al máximo los buenos es un lema que todos nos deberíamos saber.
I don't want to continue telling you the story so that you feel motivated to watch it in case you haven't seen it, in my opinion it is a movie that shows us that maybe you can have everything to be happy but if you are not next to the right person, you will never be happy. Learn from the bad moments to live the good ones to the fullest is a motto that we should all know.
Es una comedia romántica llena de clichés que te harán decir "No puede ser" pero que sin dudas, vale la pena ver, les confieso que con esta película llore demasiado la primera vez que la vi y es que después de tanta lluvia para Rosie finalmente logró disfrutar del sol.
It is a romantic comedy full of clichés that will make you say "No way" but without a doubt, it is worth seeing, I confess that with this movie I cried too much the first time I saw it and after so much rain for Rosie finally managed to enjoy the sun.
