Como les he comentado muuuchas veces, me encanta ver películas y más aún cuando son películas en estreno que prometen ser innovadoras en su género! Debo ser honesta con ustedes y admitir que cuando vi por primera vez su trailer no me genero gran impacto porque sentí que pasaría lo mismo que con “Ruega por nosotros” y la verdad… ME ENCANTO! Aquí les dejare mi opinión respecto a esta película tratando de no hacer spoiler, aquí dejo para ustedes su sinopsis de Google:
As I have told you many times, I love watching movies and even more when they are new movies that promise to be innovative in their genre! I must be honest with you and admit that when I first saw the trailer it didn't have a big impact on me because I felt that the same thing would happen as with "Pray for us" and the truth is... I LOVED it! Here I will leave you my opinion about this movie trying not to make spoilers, here I leave for you its Google synopsis:

El exorcismo de Dios es una película estrenada en tal fecha exclusivamente en cines y que tuvo una publicidad bastante buena, yo dure un tiempo para poder verla puesto que no había tenido el tiempo para ir hasta un cine a verla, sin embargo, cuando tuve la oportunidad no dude ni un segundo en hacerlo y la verdad es que no me arrepiento ni un poquito, desde las actuaciones hasta la trama son bastante buenas y la recomiendo el 100%, creo que una de las cosas que mas me gusto de esta película es que está dirigida por Alejandro Hidalgo, quien dirigió la famosa película venezolana “La casa del fin de los tiempos” la cual a mi parecer es una de las mejores joyas cinematográficas venezolanas que puedan existir, con la actuación de María Gabriela De faria y María Antonieta Hidalgo, ambas venezolanas pude sentir la inclusión puesto que habían otros personajes llevados a la vida por venezolanos, esta película fue creada en una coproducción de Venezuela, México y USA, así que definitivamente hay diversidad cultural en el filme.
El exorcismo de Dios is a film released on that date exclusively in theaters and had a pretty good publicity, I took a while to see it because I had not had the time to go to a movie theater to see it, however, when I had the opportunity I did not hesitate a second to do it and the truth is that I do not regret a bit, from the performances to the plot are pretty good and I recommend it 100%, I think one of the things I liked most about this movie is that it is directed by Alejandro Hidalgo, who directed the famous Venezuelan movie "La casa del fin de los tiempos" which in my opinion is one of the best Venezuelan film gems that can exist, with the performance of Maria Gabriela De faria and Maria Antonieta Hidalgo, both Venezuelan I could feel the inclusion since there were other characters brought to life by Venezuelans, this movie was created in a co-production of Venezuela, Mexico and USA, so there is definitely cultural diversity in the film.
Respecto a la trama puedo decir que no se trata de otra simple película de exorcismos, donde a pesar de las dificultades que puedan aparecer, siempre terminan felices después de un exitoso exorcismo. Sin ánimos de hacer spoiler, debo decir que es un contexto bastante diferente donde en un punto senti que se trataba de una película de zombies jajajaja, en modo de resumen les dire que: Peter es un sacerdote “gringo” que habita en algún lugar de México, hace 11 años participó en un exorcismo, sin el permiso del Vaticano, lo cual le ha traído consecuencias, buenas y malas, en su vida presente. Continúa ayudando a los miembros de su congregación no sólo en la parte espiritual sino dándoles comida y medicinas; sin embargo, parece ser que el diablo lo ha vuelto a encontrar o eso parece indicar una llamada de la cárcel local, donde es requerido por una joven que está acusada de matar a un hombre y que, según los guardias, necesita ayuda divina, ya que su comportamiento no corresponde a una mujer con problemas mentales, ahora, el Padre Peter deberá arrepentirse de sus pecados para estar listo para la batalla.
Regarding the plot I can say that this is not just another exorcism movie, where despite the difficulties that may appear, they always end up happy after a successful exorcism. Without spoilers, I must say that it is a quite different context where at one point I felt that it was a zombie movie hahahaha, in summary I will tell you that: Peter is a "gringo" priest who lives somewhere in Mexico, 11 years ago he participated in an exorcism, without the permission of the Vatican, which has brought him consequences, good and bad, in his present life. He continues to help the members of his congregation not only spiritually but also by giving them food and medicine; however, it seems that the devil has found him again or so it seems to indicate a call from the local jail, where he is requested by a young woman who is accused of killing a man and who, according to the guards, needs divine help, since her behavior does not correspond to a woman with mental problems, now, Father Peter must repent of his sins to be ready for battle.
Un detalle que quizá pocos notaron es que al comenzar el filme, tiene cierta similitud con el éxito “El exorcista”, eso me genero un poco de incógnita y averiguando un poco me encontré con la información de que se trata de un tributo a esta maravillosa película, el regreso del vomito verde fue más de lo que pude esperar (no puedo negar que me reí en ese momento jajaja) y como se deformaron ambas posesas me recordó bastante a esa película. El humor negro también se hizo presente en varias ocasiones dándole un toque fresco a este filme. La película logra el cometido de entretener y presentarte un escenario (a veces hasta creíble)de cómo sería un exorcismo en algún pueblo olvidado de México, dónde el permiso del vaticano tardaría años en llegar y no hay más armas que la fe y un par de crucifijos e imágenes. Además de una disyuntiva por la que seguramente muchos religiosos han pasado, el amor por una mujer.
A detail that perhaps few people noticed is that at the beginning of the film, it has a certain similarity with the hit "The Exorcist", that generated a bit of uncertainty in me and finding out a little I found the information that it is a tribute to this wonderful film, the return of the green vomit was more than I could expect (I can not deny that I laughed at that moment hahaha) and how both possessed women were deformed reminded me a lot of that film. The black humor was also present in several occasions giving a fresh touch to this film. The film manages to entertain and present you with a scenario (sometimes even believable) of what an exorcism would be like in some forgotten town in Mexico, where the Vatican's permission would take years to arrive and there are no weapons other than faith and a couple of crucifixes and images. In addition to a dilemma that surely many religious have gone through, the love for a woman.
