Saludos queridos miembros de esta comunidad, un gusto saludarles el día de hoy me encuentro en este espacio para compartir la reseña sobre la película Lilo y Stitch. En aquella oportunidad pude disfrutar de ella en el cine cuando se estrenó con la expectativa de que tan buena sería y si al final me terminaría gustando o no, y puedo decir que si tomé una buena decisión en ir a verla.

Greetings to the dear members of this community; it is a pleasure to greet you all. Today, I am here to share a review of the movie Lilo & Stitch. I originally saw it in theaters when it was first released, wondering just how good it would be and whether I would end up liking it; looking back, I can say that going to see it was a great decision.

Está película es una adaptación de la versión animada del año 2002, en dónde claramente se pueden ver a los personajes en la vida real con ese toque de fantasía, se estrenó en el año 2025, si ocurrieron varios cambios entre ambas versiones pero de igual forma me pareció buena esta adaptación.

This film is an adaptation of the 2002 animated version, clearly presenting the characters in a live-action setting with a touch of fantasy; it was released in 2025. Although there were several changes between the two versions, I still found this adaptation to be good.

Lilo es una niña Hawaiana que ama bailar, y también surfear luego de quedar huérfana quedó bajo la tutela de su hermana Nani, fué un desafío para ambas ya que en cierta parte Lilo se sentía sola, y Nani debía trabajar para poder mantener a Lilo. Debido a la ausencia de su hermana por las ocupaciones que tenía llevó a Lilo a buscar un compañero.

Lilo is a Hawaiian girl who loves dancing and surfing. After becoming an orphan, she was placed under the guardianship of her sister, Nani; this was a challenging situation for both of them, as Lilo often felt lonely while Nani had to work to support her. Her sister's frequent absences due to work commitments led Lilo to look for a companion.

Allí es donde aparece Stitch, un pequeño extraterrestre que combina el lado feroz y tierno, cuando llega a tierra se hace pasar por un perro en dónde Lilo decide llevárselo para adoptarlo, a Nani no le parecía la idea pero luego descubre que no se trata de un animal común. Sin embargo se convierte en su compañero de travesuras. Eso sí, varias escenas nos hacen reír con las ocurrencias de ambos.

That is where Stitch appears—a small alien who combines a fierce side with a tender one. Upon arriving on Earth, he passes himself off as a dog, leading Lilo to adopt him; Nani is initially skeptical of the idea but later discovers he is no ordinary animal. Nevertheless, he becomes her partner in mischief. Indeed, the antics of the pair provide plenty of laughs throughout the story.

Ambos comparten tiempo y experiencias junto por lo que Lilo lo hace parte de su vida, a pesar de los múltiples intentos de los agentes espaciales para atrapar a Stitch la decisión final es dejarlo en la tierra bajo la tutela de Nani y Lilo, convirtiéndose parte de su familia, en esta película se puede sentir el miedo, la tristeza pero también el amor de una familia.

The two share time and experiences, and Lilo makes him a part of her life; despite the space agents' repeated attempts to capture Stitch, the final decision is to leave him on Earth under the care of Nani and Lilo, where he becomes part of their family. The film captures the fear and sadness, but also the love, of a family.

La frase principal es Ohana significa familia, y la familia nunca te abandona ni te olvida. un lema que tiene mucho poder hasta en nuestra propia vida, esto nos demuestra que a pesar de los problemas, dificultades que tuvieron ambas hermanas para convivir y sobrellevar la perdida de sus padres pudieron reconstruir su vínculo, además de que Stitch no fuese visto como solo un extraterrestre si no como un ser que también siente y quiere.

The key phrase is "Ohana means family, and family never abandons or forgets you"—a motto that holds great power in our own lives. It demonstrates that, despite the problems and difficulties the two sisters faced in living together and coping with the loss of their parents, they were able to rebuild their bond; furthermore, it shows that Stitch was not viewed merely as an alien, but as a being capable of feeling and loving.

Me gustó mucho como se puede llevar una película animada a una versión más real manteniendo su historia principal así mismo se pueden apreciar escenas icónicas pero más modernas, así que la volvería a ver en casa. Gracias por leer.

I really liked how an animated movie could be adapted into a more realistic version while staying true to the original story; you can also appreciate iconic scenes updated for modern times, so I would definitely watch it again at home. Thanks for reading.
