Hola! Saludos a todos, hoy les quiero compartir la reseña de la película Dios no está muerto se estrenó en el año 2014 una película que va más allá del drama en dónde se debate sobre la ciencia y la fé, ideal para ver en familia, personalmente me gustó mucho y me conmovió al final, nos deja una reflexión, pues cada uno de nosotros decide en qué creer, somos libres de aceptar o no una creencia religiosa, así lo manifesta la película.

Hello everyone! Today I’d like to share a review of the movie God's Not Dead, released in 2014. It is a film that goes beyond mere drama to explore the debate between science and faith—an ideal choice for family viewing. Personally, I really enjoyed it and found the ending moving; it leaves us with something to reflect on, as each of us decides what to believe and is free to accept or reject religious beliefs—a point the film clearly conveys.

Josh es un joven estudiante que se inscribe en la clase de filosofía 150 del profesor Radisson, él es cristiano y defiende su fé por encima de cualquier cosa, mientras que el profesor se inclina más a la ciencia y además es ateo, durante la clase le deja muy en claro a sus estudiantes su objetivo además les explica las teorías filosóficas y les hace firmar una hoja con una frase que dice Dios ha muerto. Él se basa en la idea de que la ciencia ha superado la superstición.

Josh is a young student who enrolls in Professor Radisson's Philosophy 150 class. He is a Christian who defends his faith above all else, whereas the professor—an atheist—leans toward science; during the course, the professor makes his objective clear to the students, explains various philosophical theories, and requires them to sign a paper bearing the phrase "God is dead," basing his stance on the idea that science has surpassed superstition.

Mientras tanto Josh se niega a firmar dicha hoja, por lo que el profesor no le gusta, y lo desafía a demostrar la existencia de Dios de lo contrario lo podría descalificar, en cada clase tendría 20 minutos para exponer sus bases. Para la novia de Josh no fué una buena idea y trató de convencerlo de que firmara la hoja ya que podría afectar sus calificaciones, su oportunidad de optar por una carrera y el futuro de ambos.

Meanwhile, Josh refuses to sign the paper, which displeases the professor; the professor challenges him to prove the existence of God—warning that he could otherwise be disqualified—and grants him twenty minutes in each class to present his arguments. Josh's girlfriend thinks this is a bad idea and tries to convince him to sign the paper, as it could jeopardize his grades, his future career prospects, and their shared future.

Aunque Josh tenía dudas y algo de miedo sobre su decisión de realizar el debate o no el pastor Dave lo motiva a seguir su camino y de demostrar su fé a través de la biblia, además le hace saber que a través de él otros estudiantes podrán conocer sobre Dios y ellos mismos podrán cuestionar su existencia. En cada clase tuvo la oportunidad de expresarse, aunque el profesor siempre le colocaba trabas además se notaba el tono de burla hacia Josh.

Although Josh had doubts and felt somewhat apprehensive about whether or not to hold the debate, Pastor Dave encouraged him to stay the course and demonstrate his faith through the Bible; he also pointed out that, through Josh, other students might come to know God and question His existence. Josh had the opportunity to speak up in every class, even though the professor constantly put obstacles in his way and made no secret of his mocking attitude toward him.

Otros de los personajes que destacan en la historia es Ayisha, una joven musulmana estudiante que esconde su creencias hacia el cristianismo hasta que su padre la descubre y la corre de la casa, también está la escritora Amy, que es diagnosticada con cáncer pero su rutina de trabajo y ocupaciones no le permitía cuidar de su salud por lo que ignoraba las llamadas del Doctor hasta que acude y descubre de su enfermedad.

Another standout character in the story is Ayisha, a young Muslim student who conceals her interest in Christianity until her father discovers it and kicks her out of the house; there is also Amy, a writer diagnosed with cancer whose work routine and busy schedule prevented her from looking after her health, leading her to ignore calls from her doctor until she finally went in and learned of her illness.

Describe la vida de cada uno de los personajes y de sus problemas personales para algunos dudan en buscar la ayuda de la fé, otros se mantienen en silencio para no ser castigados, al final pueden tomar la decisión correcta lo que hará que se sientan bien y en paz consigo mismos. El profesor Radisson confiesa no creen en Dios ya que perdió a su madre por una enfermedad a los 12 años, ella le dejó una carta donde le expresa que siga por el camino del bien tal cual ella le había enseñado de pequeño.

Al final el profesor queda solo y muere durante un accidente, el pastor Dave lo encuentra en la calle en medio de la lluvia sobre el piso, le da una palabra de aliento que lo ayudará a reconocer a Dios como único salvador ya que durante tanto tiempo se mantuvo en su postura de no creyente, la verdad me pareció muy triste el final del profesor, quizás pudo continuar con su vida con un nuevo comienzo pero no fué así, dado que detrás de su odio, había una marca irreparable que fué la muerte de su madre.

The story describes the lives and personal struggles of the various characters; some hesitate to turn to faith for help, while others remain silent out of fear of punishment. Ultimately, they are able to make the right choice, leading to a sense of well-being and inner peace. Professor Radisson reveals that he does not believe in God, having lost his mother to illness when he was twelve; she had left him a letter urging him to follow the path of goodness, just as she had taught him in his childhood.

In the end, the professor is left alone and dies following an accident. Pastor Dave finds him lying on the ground in the rain and offers words of encouragement that help him acknowledge God as his only Savior—a significant shift after his long-held stance as a non-believer. I found the professor's ending truly sad; perhaps he could have made a fresh start in life, but that was not to be, as his hatred stemmed from the irreparable wound of his mother's death.

Una película que califico como buena, ya que deja un mensaje de reflexión para quienes somos creyentes de Dios, me causo algo de nostalgia ya que esto puede pasar en la vida real, cada una de las personas pudo sentirse reconfortada.

I rate this film as good, as it offers a thought-provoking message for those of us who believe in God; it stirred up a sense of nostalgia in me, given that such things can happen in real life, and everyone involved was able to find comfort.
