Si hay una película de superación personal que me ha gustado bastante es Rocky, publicada en el año 1976 con una duración de 119 minutos, protagonizada por Sylvester Stallone, no solo se trata de una película de boxeo, en ella se puede ver el vivo ejemplo de como se puede lograr objetivos a través de la disciplina y la confianza en nosotros mismos, me llama la atención las películas del personaje principal, aunque el final no era lo esperado para mí deja una gran lección.

If there is one movie about personal growth that I have really enjoyed, it is Rocky—released in 1976 with a runtime of 119 minutes and starring Sylvester Stallone. It is not merely a boxing movie; it offers a vivid example of how goals can be achieved through discipline and self-confidence. I find the films centered on this character compelling, and even though the ending wasn't what I expected, it imparts a valuable lesson.

Vivir en un barrio de bajos recursos puede ser desalentador para muchas personas, en especial para Rocky Balboa que con un gran talento no contaba con el suficiente apoyo, no había mucha oportunidad en él por lo que trabajaba de cobrador, también es díficil rodearse en este ambiente de personas que te inspiren a confiar en ti, por suerte el encontró a alguien que lo ayudó a llevar sus vacíos y a motivarse a seguir adelante, q entrenar fuerte para esa pelea tan esperada.

Living in a low-income neighborhood can be disheartening for many—especially for Rocky Balboa, a man of great talent who lacked sufficient support and saw few opportunities, forcing him to work as a debt collector. It is also difficult to find people in such an environment who inspire self-belief; fortunately, however, Rocky found someone who helped him cope with his inner voids and motivated him to press on and train hard for that long-awaited fight.

Algunas personas cuentan con la suerte de tener el apoyo suficiente, a través de propagandas, y con lucirse ante los demás basta, sin embargo Rocky tuvo que trabajar el triple, esto nos puede suceder en la vida real, de necesita la valentía y ganas de superarse para levantarse temprano a pesar de los problemas, esto es lo que demuestra Rocky, al principio se veía como una persona que no sabía cuál era su rumbo, si tenía el talento pero le faltaba algo, y era la disciplina.

Some people are lucky enough to have ample support—such as through publicity—where simply showing off is enough; Rocky, however, had to work three times as hard. This is something that can happen in real life: it takes courage and the drive to better oneself to get up early and keep going despite one's problems. That is what Rocky demonstrates; initially, he seemed like someone without a clear direction—he had the talent, certainly, but he lacked one thing: discipline.

Para mí Rocky ganó el amor, la confianza en sí mismo y se vió más fuerte que antes, no solo físicamente, pensaba que tendría otro final pero igual me gustó, es una buena película en definitiva, así que no hay excusas para levantarse y mirar hacia adelante, no importa de donde vengas. Ya luego veré la segunda parte.

For me, Rocky gained love and self-confidence, and he seemed stronger than before—and not just physically. I had expected a different ending, but I liked it anyway; it’s definitely a good movie. It shows there are no excuses for not getting up and looking ahead, no matter where you come from. I’ll watch the second part later on.
