There are human inventions that change the course of life. And I say they change because they become important, part of everyday life, and the most remarkable thing is that they are enduring in time.
One of those discoveries in cinema. Seeing reflected situations simulating life events, through a screen, means an important point to highlight in history.
I'm not much of an expert in the area of reviews, but if there's one thing I love, it's watching movies and series. I get so immersed in the plot that when I like a film, I enjoy it a lot. To such an extent that, I watch it countless times and each time it's as if I had never seen it before.
There are films of different genres, in my case I love very much those that make reflection or analogy with life and the inner self of the human being. One of those is The Devil's Advocate. A film from many points of view is extraordinary for the message it leaves us about the behavior of human beings and the whys and wherefores of many of their actions.
Many times (the vast majority) we tend to blame God for our actions or to say that this or that person is bad for some situation and we never stop to think about the why of this kind of thing.
Hay invenciones del ser humano que cambian el curso de la vida. Y digo que cambian porque se convierten en algo importante, parte de la vida diaria y lo más resaltante es que son perdurables en el tiempo.
Uno de esos descubrimientos es el cine. Ver reflejadas situaciones simulando eventos de la vida, a través de una pantalla, significa un punto importante de resaltar en la historia.
No soy muy experta en el área de reseñas, pero si hay algo que me encanta es ver películas y series. Me sumerjo tanto en la trama que cuando un filme me gusta, realmente lo disfruto muchísimo. A tal punto que, lo veo infinidad de veces y cada vez es como si no lo hubiera visto nunca.
Hay filmes de diferentes géneros, en mi caso me encantan mucho aquellos que hacen reflexión o analogía con la vida y el Yo interno del ser humano. Uno de esos es El abogado del diablo. Una película desde muchos puntos de vista extraordinaria por el mensaje que nos deja acerca de la conducta del ser humano y los porqués de muchas de sus acciones.
Muchas veces (la gran mayoría) solemos culpar a Dios de nuestras acciones, o de decir que tal o cual persona es mala por alguna situación y nunca nos detenemos a pensar el por qué de este tipo de cosas.

When fame overwhelms us, we tend to get sidetracked, always wanting to get more. Reaching a point where we sacrifice those who love us and we love, for that unhealthy taste of an ill-gotten or undue triumph, which can lead us to be victorious at work, but failures on the part of feelings and family.
The main protagonist experiences this sensation and involvement by this cruel and overwhelming feeling of vanity.
The Devil's Advocate is a film that recreates a fact that many people still do not assimilate and that is that the human being has all kinds of feelings, good and bad.
We all have that essence and we can manifest any of those sides at any moment of our lives. We simply choose something we call free will and it is nothing more than the decision we can make to follow either of the two sides as far as our behavior in life is concerned.
This 1997 film, starring two of my favorite actors such as the always versatile Keanu Reeves and Mr. Al Pacino, the latter, in my personal opinion, one of the best of the Seventh Art without a doubt; this duo makes this film, a film worth watching and assimilating in terms of teaching about life.
Cuando la fama nos arropa, tendemos a desviar el camino, queriendo siempre obtener más. Llegando a un punto en el que sacrificamos a quienes nos aman y amamos, por ese sabor malsano de un triunfo mal habido o indebido, lo cual puede llevarnos a ser victoriosos en el plano laboral, pero fracasados en la parte de los sentimientos y la familia.
El protagonista principal experimenta esta sensación y envolvimiento por parte de este sentimiento tan cruel y avasallante cómo es la vanidad.
El abogado del diablo es una película que recrea un hecho que mucha gente aún no asimila y es el de que el ser humano tiene todo tipo de sentimientos, buenos y malos.
Todos tenemos esa esencia y podemos manifestar cualquiera de esos lados en cualquier instante de nuestras vidas. Simplemente escogemos algo que llamamos libre albedrío y no es más que la decisión que podemos tomar en seguir cualquiera de los dos lados en lo que a nuestra conducta en la vida se refiere.
Este filme del año 1997, protagonizado por dos de mis actores favoritos como son el siempre versátil Keanu Reeves y el señor Al Pacino, este último, en mi opinión personal, uno de los mejores del Séptimo Arte sin duda alguna; esta dupla hace de esta película, un filme digno de ver y asimilar en cuanto a la enseñanza respecto a la vida.

Keanu Reeves as always is a very complete actor when it comes to playing different characterizations. In it, he debates between the normal feelings of the vanity of the human being. That ego sometimes surrounds us and makes us deviate to the bad side of things. He gets carried away by wanting more and more, to such an extent that he almost tragically neglects his personal life.
Al Pacino in a masterful performance, one of those to which we are accustomed, represents evil in its maximum expression, the so-called Devil. This is nothing more than that feeling of evil and improper character that lives in all human beings and that this film shows us as a person who lives testing the ability to resist or not to the temptations of the main protagonist.
I liked something Pacino says in the film and it refers to the vanity of the human being, which, according to his character, is his favorite.
Another main performance that I liked was that of the female lead (Charlize Teron) who plays Keanu Reeves' wife and who in my opinion personifies that love that makes us go back to those moments of vanity and madness for evil. In this case, she is no exception and gives us a great performance on this topic.
This film left me with a lot of teaching and pleasure, to such an extent that, honoring my main flaw which is to repeatedly watch the movies I love over and over again without getting bored, I lost count of how many times I have seen it again.
A film that I highly recommend and that I invite you to see with the full assurance that you will not be disappointed.
Keanu Reeves como siempre, un actor muy completo a la hora de interpretar diferentes caracterizaciones. En ella se debate entre los sentimientos normales de la vanidad del ser humano. Ese ego que nos envuelve a veces y hace que nos desviemos hacia el lado malo de las cosas. Se deja llevar por querer más y más, a tal punto que descuida casi trágicamente lo que es su vida personal.
Al Pacino en una actuación magistral, de esas a las que nos tiene acostumbrados, representa al mal en su máxima expresión, el llamado Diablo. Este no es más que ese sentimiento de carácter malo e indebido que vive en todos los seres humanos y que este filme nos lo muestra como una persona que vive poniendo a prueba la capacidad de resistirse o no a las tentaciones, del protagonista principal.
Me gustó mucho de Pacino algo que dice en el filme y es referido a la vanidad del ser humano, la cual, según su personaje, es su favorita.
Otra actuación principal que me gustó fue la de la protagonista femenina (Charlize Teron) quien hace de la esposa de Keanu Reeves y que a mi parecer personifica ese amor que nos hace retroceder en aquellos momentos de vanidad y locura por el mal. En este caso, no es la excepción y nos muestra una gran actuación en este tópico.
Este filme me dejó muchísima enseñanza y gusto, a tal punto que, haciendo honor a mi defecto principal que es ver repetidamente las películas que me encantan una y otra vez sin que esto llegue a aburrirme, perdí la cuenta de cuántas veces la he vuelto a ver.
Una película que recomiendo ampliamente y que los invito a ver con la seguridad plena de que no saldrán defraudados.
