Yes! The new episode in the “Alien” Franchise! And Yes! Ridley Scott is the Director!
It's a “Prometheus” sequel and it takes place in that same planet. Another ship is sent there and they only find David, the robot and only survivor of the previous ship.
I must say “Prometheus” was somewhat disappointing for me… I am an “Alien” fan, and definitely a Scott fan, on top of that, I do have some interest in the subject of the film.. I even gave the film another chance and watch it twice… but it was in fact a disappointment.
But it was also the movie I was expecting the most. So I had giant expectations… ( I will watch again before this one and write a review)
It was such a “mystery” of a movie that rumours said that it was in the second chapter that answers would come…
However this one seems to be closer to the original film than “Prometheus”, with a claustrophobic fell to it. I am very curious to see what comes out of it…and I have lower expectations due to the previous one. I will be sitting in a dark Theatre when it opens next year.
