### ## Hi everyone! I really enjoyed seeing this movie that has just appeared this month and it is an incredible story about believing in yourself, kindness, courage, cultural background, and joy.
Some parts of the movie are quite touching and might make you cry if you're a more sensitive person.
The movie tells the story of Prerna, a local Indian girl who finds her passion for skateboarding after meeting Jessica, a woman from London with a very different background and a drive to make a difference in an adverse environment.
Also, Prerna's family and community are against such passions for a young girl who should stick with local traditions and particularly helping her family without contradicting male older figures and getting married.
Prerna's brother is also a great help even though he is younger than Prerna and also discovering his passion for skateboarding. In fact, all the kids in that rural area are excited about this new sport and all the community has to adjust to it.
This passion comes also with a project after Jessica and her friends receive support in this direction. Therefore, a skatepark is developed in the Indian rural community, and kids from various Indian areas can engage in this kind of competition.
This movie is a lesson of sticking to the things you want to do in life even though it is not an easy decision with regards to others, believing in gender equality and giving a true opportunity to women to discover their path, and finally, lending wings to a community and believing in its chance to raise up from there.
Hope you did enjoy my post and maybe deciding to watch this movie. I think you would definitely actualize some important life values.
Best!
