I could not finish pacific rim

I do not think I even got past the first act. For the amount of hype this movie had, I was surprised how lacking it was. The first part of the movie that I watched was boring and poorly done. I was tempted to stop watching but the tipping point was the radical feminism. Why do american movies always feel the need to shove radical feminism down your throat? Foreign films do not do this. Whenever american studios try to copy movies from other countries it almost always fails dramatically. Please leave the monster movies to the asians they are the only ones that seem to do it right.
