Impulse season 1 review

A spin off of the movie Jumper with a teleporting teen having to deal with a rapey drug dealer family and a shadow organization too. What do you expect with a TV show about teleportation? Crazy action in exotic locations. This show has almost none of that, so that is really disappointing. Instead the show is basically a generic drama, which is alright. You get the impression that it is riding on the coattails of 13 Reasons Why hitting you over the head with their message about sexual abuse in every episode like some lame after school special. In the last part of the finale they tease the second season with an exotic location some mystery and action. I hope they make the entire second season like this last part, instead of the generic drama I could have watched in any other show. You know, what a show about teleportation actually should be about.
