So here it is the latest tribe to launch on Hive and I have to admit I'm excited. I'm a massive movie buff and I will have no problem smashing down 1000 words+ for a blog post about movies.

I was really hoping to get in first and having the first ever #cine post a star wars related post but I failed to upload the images and piss farted around and someone beat me to it with an inferior post.... a Conan the barbarian. No disrespect, I'm a massive arnie fan and loved when he came to Aus. He's been a massive inspiration to me and role model hence the muscles.

But I want to talk about the Mandalorian but before we get there let's start at the beginning.

I literally indoctrinated my kids into star wars! Cult classics A new hope, Empire Strikes back and my all time favourite Return of the Jedi.

No matter what occurs I watch these 3 every year. They can't be beat.

I still remember when the absolute excitement I experienced at the announcement of The Phantom Menace..... what a flop. I mean great in fills but all that technology, CGI and all we got was Ja Ja binks. Still I wore it as a true star wars fan. But it sucked.

I was a bit of a star wars geek, still am. The games were better than the films and they expanded more. Episodes 1 2 3 had great potential but they lacked one thing. Darth Vadar fucking up the galaxy. We needed a whole movie on it.

I still long for it.

No matter where I am, I have the original 3 films on my phone to watch. They're epic.

Ok so now Ray rocks up, I have to admit I really enjoyed this movie, but it focused too much on who her parents were and had everyone believing she was Luke's kid. Missed an entire chance to dominate a film. Still fucking epic. Delete episodes 1 2 3 I'm happy to have them remade. Erased from human kind for good.

Rogue One - Whaaaaaaat ok now this mother fucker is star wars! Boom. We're back baby.

Solo pops up - I can't remember it, it was that bad I have deleted it from my memory.

So I hear Disney is making a series, The Mandalorian. I didnt get too worked up. I was anticipating a dodgy marvel side chain series that aren't quite good enough for film characters.

Series 1 ended and I was impressed, I stopped borrowing my friends account and signed up for myself.

Season 2 had me on the edge of my seat! I loved it every single moment of it.

Except for one moment I did not see coming, the famous father and son moments.

The bots are ready to breach the hull and kill everyone. Then we get this figure. We know it's a Jedi. We've just encountered one in the previous episodes.

Obviously when the tie fighter rocks up, I'm thinking.... nah? Is the time line the same.

We see camera footage of shit getting fucked up. OK ok ok getting excited now.

And then booooom Darth Vadar, I mean Luke Skywalker shows up. The most powerful jedi a live to date. The he drops his hood and I'm blown away even more!

If COVID has impacted one thing that I hate the most is that all these epic films are being delayed. I can not explain the excitement I have inside of me. I can't wait for season 3 to be completed and what else we are doing to see..

But for medichlorians sake, someone make us a series or movie of Darth Vadar going around the universe fucking shit up. Dominating and utter destruction. I need to see my lord in action. Rogue One gave us a glimpse. Now give us the whole damn thing!

Do I have any other star wars fanatics on here? Are you with me on this?

Growing up I enjoyed watching star wars but I sometimes get sleepy while watching them. Perhaps they are too long in duration. All in all I was always excited about the film
