TV SERIES : FIRST LOVE (2022)

The song "First Love," performed by renowned Japanese singer Utada Hikaru and very popular in 1999, served as the inspiration for this television series.

A Japanese romantic drama genre is introduced in First Love (2022) Series 9 episodes from the Netflix platform. This series' main characters are Takeru Satoh and Hikari Mitsushima, who are well-known from shows like Kamen Rider Den-O and Rurouni Kenshin.

Its relates the love story of Yae Noguchi (Hikari Mitsushima) and Harumichi Namiki (Takeru Satoh), who met while attending the same school and fell in love right away.

A pretty girl named Noguchi who is shy and interested in space science. While most girls at the school are smitten with Namiki, a handsome, active student.

Namiki continues his studies to become a pilot at the Japanese Air Defense Department, while Noguchi pursues his dream of becoming a flight attendant.

Noguchi lost her memory and had her goals destroyed by an accident. Namiki "lost" his love as a result of the unfortunate event that happened to Noguchi.

Each person leads a unique life as time goes on. Namiki retired from flying and now works as a security guard, while Noguchi has become a taxi driver like her mother and has a son.

Noguchi and Namiki once cross paths unintentionally. Noguchi, however, is seen not remembering Namiki as a result of the past events. Namiki approaches Noguchi on his own initiative in the hopes that she will recall their"first love."

Although the first few minutes of each episode are a little "melancholy," in my opinion, the production quality of this series is excellent. For viewers who are interested in love stories, the "flashback" and "present" storyline is well-organized.
