Hello Hive friends, it's been a while since I've seen a movie and this time I'm going to review one that I saw recently and I thought it was quite nice in terms of plot and teaching.

The story begins with a fire couple arriving in a big city full of different elements. This couple is looking for a new opportunity in the city and finds a space that is a bit run down, but one of them sees a great opportunity in it. Little by little they show how time goes by and they have a baby, who will be the main character of this cute story.

Our protagonist's name is Ember and she and her father run a store for fire people. She wants her father to retire and rest, but leaving her in charge, this is not at all easy, as she has little patience and explodes whenever she is under too much pressure. The father, realizing this, still does not leave her in charge of the store, but he is not disappointed; rather he is quite an understanding person and upon just seeing him, you like this character.

At an important event, our protagonist's father leaves her in charge and tells her that if she can keep calm, she can take over the store. But as the day progresses, our protagonist reaches a point where she can't hold it together and is about to explode. Realizing this, she rushes down to the basement where she can no longer contain herself and explodes. This causes a big mess and everything starts to fill up with water. This is where our other protagonist, Wade, who was sucked into a pipe and arrived at Ember's place, shows up. This new water boy is an inspector who starts to write down all the faults of the place and tells Ember that he will shut it down. He escapes and Ember chases him all over town.

Arriving at city hall, Ember can't stop Wade from delivering her report, which is sent. She angrily walks out of the building telling all that her father has done to have his place and all that he sacrificed. Wade upon hearing this asks her why she hadn't told him before and that's when we realize that Ember has a hard time talking about her feelings. Then, the two characters get down to work in order to prevent Ember's father from being shut down, and as they do this, they create a connection between two characters of different elements.

Elementals struck me as a film with a rather nice message: that you always have to try everything to achieve something you want. Wade was an essential support for Ember and the movie focuses more on her and how she puts her dream over her father, and by not wanting to talk things out, everything gets complicated. But he was still always there encouraging her to express everything she felt, because sometimes we make a movie in our own mind and we don't even try to talk. If we think about all the discomfort, we're never going to move.

Hola amigos de Hive, hacía tiempo que no veía una película y esta vez voy a hacer una reseña de una que vi hace poco y me pareció bastante bonita en cuanto a su argumento y enseñanza.

La historia comienza con una pareja de fuegos que llega a una gran ciudad llena de distintos elementos. Esta pareja busca una nueva oportunidad en la ciudad y encuentra un espacio un poco deteriorado, pero uno de ellos ve una gran oportunidad en él. Poco a poco van mostrando cómo pasa el tiempo y tienen una bebé, que será la protagonista de esta linda historia.

Nuestra protagonista se llama Ember y junto a su padre atienden una tienda para la gente fuego. Ella quiere que su padre se jubile y descanse, pero al dejarla a cargo, esto no es para nada fácil, ya que ella tiene poca paciencia y explota cada vez que está bajo mucha presión. El padre, al darse cuenta de esto, todavía no la deja a cargo de la tienda, pero no está decepcionado; más bien es una persona bastante comprensiva y al apenas verlo, te agrada este personaje.

En un evento importante, el padre de nuestra protagonista la deja a cargo y le dice que si logra mantener la calma, podrá hacerse cargo de la tienda. Pero a medida que avanza el día, nuestra protagonista llega a un punto donde no puede aguantar y está a punto de estallar. Al darse cuenta, baja rápidamente al sótano donde ya no se puede contener más y explota. Esto causa un gran desastre y se empieza a llenar todo de agua. Aquí es donde aparece nuestro otro protagonista, Wade, el cual fue absorbido por una tubería y llegó al local de Ember. Este nuevo chico de agua es un inspector el cual empieza a anotar todas las fallas del local y le dice a Ember que se lo clausurará. Él escapa y Ember lo persigue por toda la ciudad.

Al llegar al ayuntamiento, Ember no puede evitar que Wade entregue su reporte, el cual es enviado. Ella sale enojada del edificio contando todo lo que ha hecho su padre por tener su local y todo lo que sacrificó. Wade al escuchar esto le pregunta por qué no le había dicho antes y ahí nos damos cuenta de que a Ember le cuesta hablar de sus sentimientos. Luego, los dos personajes se ponen manos a la obra para poder evitar que le clausuren el local al padre de Ember, y mientras hacen esto, van creando una conexión entre dos personajes de diferentes elementos.

Elementals me pareció una película con un mensaje bastante bonito: que siempre hay que intentar todo para lograr algo que quieres. Wade fue un apoyo esencial para Ember y la película se enfoca más en ella y en cómo pone su sueño encima de su padre, y al no querer hablar las cosas, todo se complica. Pero igual siempre estuvo ahí dándole ánimos para que expresara todo lo que sentía, porque a veces nosotros mismos nos hacemos una película en nuestra mente y no intentamos ni siquiera hablar. Si pensamos en todas las incomodidades, nunca nos vamos a mover.
