Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre una película que salió recientemente y desde su lanzamiento me llamo la atención, más que todo porque estas películas biográficas suelen ser bastante interesantes y divertidas, así que por esta razón le di una oportunidad y por eso es que hoy les quiero hablar de Flamin’ Hot
Flamin’ Hot es una película “biográfica” con tintes de comedia lanzada en el 2023, dirigida por Eva Longoria y protagonizada por Jesse Garcia, esta película nos cuenta un poco de la historia de Richard Montañez, quien es considerado el inventor de los Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Ahora si ya después de haber dado un poco de contexto, comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película y en este caso sin duda es la historia, indiferentemente de que tanto es verdad y que tanto es exagerado, a mi me parece muy interesante la verdad y es que nunca me lo había preguntado pero desde que vi de lo que iba esta película me surgió la curiosidad sobre todo lo relacionado con Flamin’ Hot, asi Que admito que me gusto.
También destacó que hayan tomado la decisión de contar la película con un tono más humorístico, le da cierta originalidad y tienes varios momentos cómicos que si me sacaron una sonrisa, aparte como la película se muestra desde la visión de nuestro protagonista muchas veces juegan con esto dejándonos claros que se exageran algunas situaciones.
Ahora aunque la historia es interesante siento que la película aborda todo de una manera afanada y superficial, siento que se centraron mas en hacer una película de comedia que en contar detalles sobre cómo fue realmente este proceso y esto hace que en momentos le pierda el hilo, no me malinterpreten, como ya dije el humor de la película me gusto, pero siento que pudieron exprimir un poco más la historia, o bueno esa fue la impresión que me da.
Este tipo de películas han sido bastante comunes este año, por lo que la “competencia” que tiene Flamin’ Hot es bastante dura, más tomando en cuenta que películas como Air y Tetris hacen un trabajo espectacular, cada una a su manera pero ambas logran resultados, sin embargo siento que Flamin’ Hot no logro un equilibrio entre la realidad y la ficción, por lo que siento que no están al nivel de las otras que mencione.
Eso si, la actuación de Jesse Garcia es la Que logra dar cierto dinamismo a la película asi Que me parece prudente destacarla, también es importante mencionar de que la película no es larga, tiene una duración de aproximadamente 1 hora y media, así que si, es una película corta que en una tarde de aburrimiento le podemos echar un vistazo sin ningún problema.
Admito que tenía unas muy altas expectativas de esta película, entonces por eso al final quede un poco decepcionado, no porque fuese realmente una mala película, sino que tenía la vara muy alta, porque este estilo de películas me gusta bastante y siendo totalmente sincero si siento que esta historia tenía más material para desarrollar, pero admito que decidieron irse por otro lado y al final termina cumpliendo con lo que promete.
En conclusión me parece una película relativamente buena para ver en una tarde de aburrimiento, no siento que este a la altura de Air o Tetris, pero si la analizamos de forma individual y sin compararla nos daremos cuenta que al final es una película divertida que nos hará pasar un buen rato, por lo que si la recomendaría!

First I always like to start talking about what I love the most about the movie and in this case it is without a doubt the story, regardless of how much is true and how much is exaggerated, I find it very interesting and I had never wondered about it but since I saw what this movie was about I was curious about everything related to Flamin' Hot, so I admit that I liked it.
It also highlighted that they have taken the decision to tell the film with a more humorous tone, it gives some originality and you have several funny moments that if I got a smile, besides as the film is shown from the vision of our protagonist often play with this making it clear that some situations are exaggerated.
Now although the story is interesting I feel that the film approaches everything in a rushed and superficial way, I feel that they focused more on making a comedy film than on telling details about how this process really was and this makes you lose the thread at times, do not get me wrong, as I said the humor of the film I liked it, but I feel that they could squeeze a little more of the story, or well that was the impression I get.
This kind of movies have been quite common this year, so the "competition" that Flamin' Hot has is quite tough, more taking into account that movies like Air and Tetris do a spectacular job, each in their own way but both achieve results, however I feel that Flamin' Hot did not achieve a balance between reality and fiction, so I feel that they are not at the level of the others I mentioned.
It is also important to mention that the film is not long, it has a duration of approximately 1 hour and a half, so yes, it is a short film that in a boring afternoon we can take a look at it without any problem.
I admit that I had very high expectations of this movie, so in the end I was a little disappointed, not because it was really a bad movie, but I had very high expectations, because I like this style of movies and being totally honest I feel that this story had more material to develop, but I admit that they decided to go the other way and in the end it ends up fulfilling what it promises.
In conclusion I think it's a relatively good movie to watch in an afternoon of boredom, I don't feel it's at the height of Air or Tetris, but if we analyze it individually and without comparing it we will realize that in the end it's a fun movie that will make us have a good time, so if I would recommend it!
