Hola hive, he visto que últimamente se ha mencionado el nombre de Jordan Peele debido a su último lanzamiento “Nope” el cual a dejado opiniones muy diversas, sin embargo antes de aventurarme a ver esta película quise revisitar lo que para mi es una auténtica joya de este director, por eso es que hoy les vengo a hablar sobre Get Out
Get Out es una película de suspenso lanzada en el 2017, dirigida/escrita por Jordan Peele y protagonizada por Daniel Kaluuya, fue una película muy bien recibida por la crítica y get out fue un excelente debut (en cuanto a largometrajes) para Jordan Peele.
Cabe destacar que esta película la vi sin saber absolutamente nada, mi hermano me invitó a verla con el y empezó interesante así que ahí me quede enganchado pero vaya que me lleve una sorpresa, porque la verdad es que está película tiene muchas cosas interesantes, así que ya dicho esto comencemos!.
Lo primero que atrapa y que a mi es algo que me gusta mucho de esta película es la Dirección y todo lo que tenga que ver con la estética de la película, solo con la primera escena podemos aprecian un plano secuencia que logra transmitir tanta tensión y suspenso pero de una manera impresionante, por lo que en los primeros 5 min de película ya sabemos cuál va a ser la vibra de la película y la crítica social a la que apuntan. Cualquier momento en una película es importante, pero el principio al final es lo que nos engancha a muchos, por esto es importante tener un buen comienzo y esta Get Out lo tiene más que claro.
La trama de esta película es un 10/10, tiene de todo y aparte esta contada de una manera impecable, tiene un giro bastante bueno al final de la película que suma demasiado, cada detalle está en su lugar y es de esas películas que vale la pena ver varias veces porque logramos captar pequeños detalles que tal vez en una primera vista no lo logramos ver.
Esta es la Segunda vez que yo veo Get Out, sin embargo no me acordaba de mucho, si Que me acordaba de la trama principal, pero habían escenas de las que no me acordaba y ya después de saber todo lo que pasa uno las ve con otra óptica. Esto en general es algo que me gusta de este tipo de películas, que cada vez que la veamos nos aporten algo diferente o nuevo.
Otro aspecto que está muy bueno de la película es el soundtrack (escuchar Redbone al principio me encanto) y en general todos la parte de sonido es perfecta, en esta películas es importante dominar esto para lograr una buena sensación de incomodidad, tensión y suspenso, y vaya que esta película lo logra.
Un plus gigantesco de Get Out es su fuerte crítica racial, y es que prácticamente toda la película se da en base a esto y es bastante evidente sin embargo aunque esta súper presenta en la película, la crítica es demasiado directa pero le logran dar la vuelta para que se nos haga interesante y no como una película más con un mensaje en contra del racismo.
Algo que me encanta de esta película es su forma de ser real dentro lo irreal, es decir aunque tiene uno que otro aspecto que llega a ser fantasioso no se siente como algo imposible o como algo demasiado descabellado, esto hace que nos sintamos identificados más fácil con el personaje principal, porque dentro de todo se siente bastante real.
Por que me suelen gustar más estas películas que las de terror en si? Porque estas películas de suspenso comúnmente invierten mucho más en un guion y una buena historia, muchas veces las películas de terror descuidan estos aspectos y sinceramente creo que sea el género que sea es muy importante mantener una buena calidad en ese sentido.
Get out cumplió mis expectativas la primera vez que la vi, y ahorita después de verla otra vez admito que sigo creyendo que es una joyita y que toda persona debería echarle un vistazo, no es una película que da miedo en lo absoluto, solo es una película con buen suspenso y una excelente historia, que más se puede pedir?

Hello hive, I have seen that lately the name of Jordan Peele has been mentioned due to his latest release "Nope" which has left very diverse opinions, however before venturing to see this movie I wanted to revisit what for me is a real gem of this director, that's why today I come to talk to you about Get Out.
Get Out is a thriller movie released in 2017, directed/written by Jordan Peele and starring Daniel Kaluuya, it was a very well received movie by critics and get out was an excellent debut (as far as feature films go) for Jordan Peele.
It is worth mentioning that I saw this movie without knowing absolutely nothing, my brother invited me to see it with him and it started interesting so I was hooked but I was really surprised, because the truth is that this movie has many interesting things, so let's start!
The first thing that catches and that is something that I really like about this film is the direction and everything that has to do with the aesthetics of the film, only with the first scene we can appreciate a sequence shot that manages to convey so much tension and suspense but in an impressive way, so in the first 5 min of film we already know what will be the vibe of the film and the social criticism to which they point. Any moment in a movie is important, but the beginning to the end is what hooks many of us, this is why it is important to have a good beginning and this Get Out has it more than clear.
The plot of this movie is a 10/10, it has everything and besides it is told in an impeccable way, it has a pretty good twist at the end of the movie that adds too much, every detail is in its place and it is one of those movies that is worth watching several times because we managed to capture small details that perhaps at first glance we could not see.
This is the second time I saw Get Out, however I did not remember much, yes I remembered the main plot, but there were scenes that I did not remember and now after knowing everything that happens you see them with a different perspective. This in general is something I like about this kind of movies, that each time we see it, they bring us something different or new.
Another aspect of the film that is very good is the soundtrack (listening to Redbone at the beginning I loved it) and in general all the sound part is perfect, in these films it is important to master this to achieve a good feeling of discomfort, tension and suspense, and this film achieves it.
A huge plus of Get Out is its strong racial criticism, and practically the whole film is based on this and it is quite evident, however although it is super presented in the film, the criticism is too direct but they manage to turn it around to make it interesting and not as another film with a message against racism.
Something I love about this movie is its way of being real within the unreal, that is, although it has one or another aspect that becomes fantasy, it doesn't feel like something impossible or something too far-fetched, this makes us feel identified more easily with the main character, because it feels quite real.
Why do I tend to like these movies more than horror movies? Because these suspense movies usually invest much more in a script and a good story, many times horror movies neglect these aspects and I sincerely believe that whatever genre it is, it is very important to maintain a good quality in that aspect.
Get out fulfilled my expectations the first time I saw it, and now after seeing it again I admit that I still think it's a gem and that everyone should take a look at it, it's not a scary movie at all, it's just a movie with good suspense and an excellent story, what more can you ask for?
