Hola hive, últimamente he escuchado mucho hablar de esta película y realmente me llamaba la atención, así que después de unos días tomé la decisión de verla y por eso es que hoy les quiero hablar de Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.
Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio es una película animada en stop motion lanzada en el 2022, basada en la novela “las aventuras de Pinocho” de Carlo Collodi, esta película está dirigida por Guillermo del Toro y Mark Gustafson, los cuales son los encargados de darle esta esencia un poco más oscura a esta conocida historia. Dicho esto ahora si comencemos!.
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de la que más me encanto de la película y en este caso sin duda es la historia, aunque actualmente el nombre se Pinocho se no hace conocido y nos hacemos ya una idea de cómo es su historia, esta película le da unas vueltas interesantes, y siento que es ahí principalmente donde está la magia de esta película, es una trama que cierra en cada uno de sus aspectos, así que esto no solo considero que es lo me más me gusto de la película sino que también es una de las mejoras cosas objetivamente hablando.
Algo que me impresionó desde que se anunció esta película fue la estética oscura que se notaba, y cuando la empecé a ver me di cuenta que esta película no se cohibe de nada, en los primeros minutos ya nos empiezan a mostrar el porqué actúa así cada uno de los personajes, y esto hace que logremos empatizar mejor con ellos.
Ahora como otro aspecto destacable de esta película no podemos dejar de lado a la animación y es que a mi en lo personal siempre la animación Stop Motion me ha parecido fascinante, no solo por esa estéticas y texturas tan particular que nos brinda este tipo de animación, sino además saber el trabajo que hay detrás para lograr un resultado así de increíble es sorprendente, además de que el diseño de cada personaje es espectacular, sin duda este apartado es uno de los más valorados de la película.
Hablemos de el arco de los personajes principales, es bastante común ver que algunas películas para no extender su duración dejan muchas cosas sin explicar o simplemente suceden las cosas por conveniencia del guion, pero eso aquí no pasa, sabemos la iniciativa de Geppeto para crea a Pinocho, nos muestran el porqué Pinocho actúa así y como su inocencia lo puede llevar a meterse en muchos problemas, sin embargo la relación de ambos personajes se siento real, una relación con muchos problemas que al pasar la historia se convierten en mejor padre y mejor hijo respectivamente, haciendo que ese momento final sea aún más emotivo.
Debo admitir que yo esperaba la misma historia que hemos visto por muchos años, por lo que mis expectativas no eran muy altas, pero sólo al ver los primeros cambios quede fascinado, una de las cosas en la historia que más me gusto es que hicieran a Pinocho inmortal, que a simple vista parece algo tonto, pero estos pequeños detalles son lo que hace que esta película sea diferente.
Me atrevería a compartir esa opinión de que Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio es la mejor película animada del 2022, porque realmente me cuesta encontrarle algún punto negativo a esta película, y no solo creo que es una objetivamente buena sino que ademas genuinamente la disfrute y me hacía empatizar con cada escena.
En conclusión esta película es una genialidad en cada uno de sus aspectos, siento que todas las buenas críticas que ha tenido no han sido en vano, a mi en lo particular me encantan las películas animadas, pero esas películas animadas que intentar ir más allá y se preocupan por tener una buena historia y desarrollo de personajes definitivamente valen oro.

Hi hive, lately I've heard a lot about this movie and it really caught my attention, so after a few days I made the decision to watch it and that's why today I want to talk about Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio is a stop motion animated movie released in 2022, based on the novel "The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Carlo Collodi, this movie is directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, who are in charge of giving a darker essence to this well known story. That said, let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I like the most about the movie and in this case is undoubtedly the story, although currently the name Pinocchio is not known and we already have an idea of how the story is, this movie gives some interesting twists, and I feel that this is mainly where the magic of this movie is, it is a plot that closes in each of its aspects, so this is not only what I like the most about the movie but it is also one of the best things objectively speaking.
Something that impressed me since this movie was announced was the dark aesthetics that was noticeable, and when I started watching it I realized that this movie is not shy of anything, in the first minutes they start to show us why each of the characters act this way, and this makes us empathize better with them.
Now as another remarkable aspect of this film we can not leave aside the animation and I personally have always found Stop Motion animation fascinating, not only for the aesthetics and textures so particular that gives us this type of animation, but also to know the work behind to achieve such an incredible result is amazing, plus the design of each character is spectacular, no doubt this section is one of the most valued of the film.
Let's talk about the arc of the main characters, it is quite common to see that some movies to not extend its duration leave many things unexplained or simply things happen for convenience of the script, but that does not happen here, we know the initiative of Geppeto to create Pinocchio, we are shown why Pinocchio acts like that and how his innocence can lead him to get into many problems, however the relationship of both characters felt real, a relationship with many problems that as the story goes by they become better father and better son respectively, making that final moment even more emotional.
I must admit that I was expecting the same story that we have seen for many years, so my expectations were not very high, but just seeing the first changes I was fascinated, one of the things in the story that I liked the most is that they made Pinocchio immortal, which at first glance seems silly, but these small details are what makes this movie different.
I would dare to share that opinion that Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio is the best animated movie of 2022, because I really have a hard time finding any negative point to this movie, and not only I think it is an objectively good one but also I genuinely enjoyed it and it made me empathize with every scene.
In conclusion this movie is a genius in each of its aspects, I feel that all the good reviews it has had have not been in vain, I particularly love animated movies, but those animated movies that try to go beyond and care about having a good story and character development are definitely worth gold.
