Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar de una película de terror bastante conocida y que me sorprendió desde el primer momento, varias veces me habían recomendado esta película pero como no soy consumidor frecuente del cine de terror no la había visto, sin embargo estos días decidí por fin echarle un vistazo, así que por eso es que hoy les vengo a hablar de Hereditary
Hereditary es una película de terror y suspenso lanzada en el 2018, distribuida por A24, protagonizada por Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd y Gabriel Byrne, y dirigida por Ari Aster. Esta película nos muestra a una familia quienes después de la muerte de la abuela, empiezan a vivir sucesos inquietantes de los cuales no podrán huir de una forma sencilla. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto sobre está película ahora si comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me gusto de esta película y sin duda es la trama en si, comúnmente las películas de terror suelen dejar en Segundo plano la historia ya que muchas veces se centran puro en dar miedo y descuidan este otro aspecto, pero para mi las mejores películas de terror son aquellas que brillan tanto en “miedo” como en historia.
Algo que si me sorprendió bastante fue como iban hilando poco a poco esta historia, y es que al principio nos va parecer que nada tiene sentido pero a medida que va transcurriendo la película vemos como todo va cobrando forma hasta que llegamos el final donde nos damos cuenta que efectivamente las cosas no suceden por simple casualidad y que todo tiene su razón de ser.
Otro aspecto resaltante de esta película sin duda es la dirección y es que dentro del género de terror yo siento que un factor clave es una buena dirección y es que parte de la genialidad de hereditary es que logran transmitir una sensación de terror e incomodidad sin caer en recursos como el Jump scare, sino cada sensación se logra transmitir debido a una dirección bien ejecutada, con escenas que juegan con la perspectiva y muchas veces tomas estáticas que general cierta inquietud, me encanto eso.
Sinceramente no soy muy fan del género de terror y es que muchas veces siento que las películas de terror son un conjunto de escenas de miedo y ya, que no están sustentadas con una historia interesante, obviamente no todas son así, sin embargo me gusta mucho más este tipo de películas que apuntan más allá de simplemente hacernos saltar del miedo, no se si me explico.
El cast me parece increíble y todos hacen un excelente trabajo, pero Toni Collette es impresionante, como se mete en el personaje y logra transmitir esa desesperación, como ya dije todos logran darle una identidad genial a cada personaje y por ende el resultado final de la película es bastante bueno.
Realmente hereditary se ha convertido sin duda en una de mis películas de terror favorita y es que tiene todo lo que busco en una película de terror, entiendo porque fue bien recibida por la crítica, porque siento que es un poco más arriesgada e intenta hacer algo diferente a lo común en este tipo de películas.
En conclusión siento que es una película que vale la pena ver, es más, así no seas tan fan del género de terror siento que de igual forma le podrías echar un vistazo ya que esta película se sale muchas veces de ese molde “película de terror” me parece que tiene una propuesta un poco diferente y eso se nota, aparte en el aspecto objetivo también es muy buena y es que tiene una buena dirección, un buen cast y una excelente historia ¿que más podemos pedir?, por eso te recomiendo que si te llama la atención no lo pienses dos veces y échale un vistazo. Totalmente recomendada

Hello hive, today I come to talk about a fairly well-known horror movie and that surprised me from the first moment, several times I had been recommended this movie but as I am not a frequent consumer of horror films I had not seen it, however these days I decided to finally take a look at it, so that's why today I come to talk about Hereditary.
Hereditary is a horror and suspense movie released in 2018, distributed by A24, starring Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd and Gabriel Byrne, and directed by Ari Aster. This film shows us a family who after the death of the grandmother, begin to live disturbing events from which they will not be able to escape in a simple way. Having already given a little context about this movie, let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I liked most about this movie and without a doubt is the plot itself, commonly horror movies usually leave the story in the background because many times they focus purely on being scary and neglect this other aspect, but for me the best horror movies are those that shine both in "fear" as in history.
Something that really surprised me was how they were spinning little by little this story, and at the beginning it seems that nothing makes sense but as the film progresses we see how everything is taking shape until we reach the end where we realize that indeed things do not happen by chance and that everything has its reason for being.
Another highlight of this film is undoubtedly the direction and within the horror genre I feel that a key factor is a good direction and part of the genius of hereditary is that they manage to convey a sense of terror and discomfort without falling into resources such as Jump scare, but every feeling is transmitted due to a well-executed direction, with scenes that play with perspective and often static shots that generate some concern, I love that.
Honestly I'm not a big fan of the horror genre and I often feel that horror movies are a set of scary scenes and that's it, that are not supported with an interesting story, obviously not all are like that, however I like much more this kind of movies that aim beyond simply make us jump with fear, I don't know if I explain myself.
I think the cast is amazing and they all do an excellent job, but Toni Collette is impressive, how she gets into the character and manages to convey that desperation, as I said they all manage to give a great identity to each character and therefore the end result of the film is quite good.
Hereditary has undoubtedly become one of my favorite horror movies and it has everything I look for in a horror movie, I understand why it was well received by critics, because I feel it is a little more risky and tries to do something different from what is common in this kind of movies.
In conclusion I feel that it is a movie worth seeing, even if you are not a fan of the horror genre I feel that you could still take a look at it because this film is often out of that mold "horror movie" I think it has a slightly different proposal and that shows, apart from the objective aspect is also very good and it has a good direction, a good cast and an excellent story, what more can we ask for, so I recommend that if it catches your attention do not think twice and take a look at it. Totally recommended
