Ya por estas fechas se empieza a sentir la vibra navideña y las películas son un factor clave en estas épocas, por esta razón es que hoy quiero hablar de lo que para mi es un clásico de clásicos en cuento a películas navideñas/familiares se trata y es Home Alone.
Home alone (o Mi Pobre Angelito como se conoce en Latinoamérica) es una película navideña lanzada en 1990, escrita y producida por John Hughes, dirigida por Chris Columbus y protagonizada por Macaulay Culkin.
Esta película tiene una premisa sencilla, Kevin queda solo en su casa debido a que su familia se va de vacaciones y lo dejan olvidado, todo va relativamente bien para Kevin hasta que dos ladrones intentan robar su casa, por lo que el tiene que defender su casa de estos bandidos. Todo esto a la vez que aprende el verdadero significado de la navidad.
Cuando hablamos de películas clásicas de navidad, esta tiene que estar en la lista, es una película que todos hemos visto alguna vez en la vida y es que obviamente en épocas de navidad se ve en todos lados.
Es una película bastante divertida, es más, yo la podría encajar un poco en “comedia”, es muy disfrutable, más que todo para ver en familia, es una película sencilla, fácil de ver, pero entretenida.
Un punto positivo de esta película es que aunque toda la temática y trama gira en torno a la navidad, no se siente tan sobrecargada y es una película que se puede ver en cualquier etapa del año que igual va a ser divertida.
Tal vez objetivamente no sea una obra de arte, no tiene una trama súper profunda ni nada de eso, pero cumple perfectamente con lo que ofrece, una película familiar/navideña. También cabe destacar que puede ser que haya un factor nostálgico detrás del cariño que le tengo ha está película, ya que desde que tengo memoria esta es una de las películas que siempre veo en navidad y aunque la veo año tras año nunca me aburre.
Si por alguna razón no has visto esta película, te la recomiendo totalmente, va a ser una hora y media bastante agradable.

When we talk about classic Christmas movies, this one has to be on the list, it is a movie that we have all seen sometime in our lives and obviously at Christmas time it is seen everywhere.
It is a pretty funny movie, in fact, I could fit it a little bit in "comedy", it is very enjoyable, mostly to watch with the family, it is a simple movie, easy to watch, but entertaining.
A positive point of this film is that although the whole theme and plot revolves around Christmas, it does not feel so overloaded and it is a film that can be seen at any time of the year and it will still be fun.
It may not objectively be a work of art, it doesn't have a super deep plot or anything like that, but it delivers perfectly well on what it offers, a family/Christmas movie. It's also worth noting that there might be a nostalgic factor behind the affection I have for this movie, since I can remember this is one of the movies I always watch at Christmas time and even though I watch it year after year it never bores me.
If for some reason you haven't seen this movie, I totally recommend it, it's going to be a very enjoyable hour and a half.
