Jungle cruise es una película estadounidense de aventura lanzada en el 2021 por Walt Disney Pictures, la película está protagonizada por Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons y Edgar Ramirez.
Esta película nos ubica durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, Frank es El Capitan de un barco y a la vez un estafador de turistas pero decide partir una aventura jungla adentro con una científica y su hermano para encontrar el árbol de la vida el cual tiene poderes curativos pero en el camino se encontrarán con diversos obstáculos que le impedirán lograr su objetivo.
Jungle Cruise es una película simple de aventura, es exactamente eso y puede llegar a tener cosas que me gustaron y otras que no tanto, es bastante entretenida el 90% de la película pero si hay unos momentos donde llegue a pensar que dos horas para esta película era mucho, otro factor destacable es las actuaciones, que aunque no eran papeles con dificultades extremas si me parece que el carisma que tiene los protagonistas es un punto a destacar.
La película puede tener giros interesantes, otros un poco forzados pero nos ayudan a empatizar un poco más con los personajes que es lo importante, debo admitir que no soy muy fan de este estilo de película, me gustan para verlas en familia porque suelen ser divertidas, pero objetivamente no me logran convencer.
Jungle cruise puede ser muy disfrutable, puede llegar a tener chistes ingeniosos, por lo que la recomiendo ver en familia, además no debemos olvidar que es una película de Disney, por esto ya se pueden hacer una idea de por donde va la película.
Esta película está basada en la atracción del mismo nombre del parque temático de Disney, y aunque al momento de ejecutar la adaptación se notó la influencia de películas como indiana Jones, está no está sustentada por una buena trama, haciendo que la película sea ver a la protagonistas saltando de aquí y allá sobrecargando la trama de obstáculos haciéndola un poco tediosa si se puede decir.
En línea general no me disgusto, y me pude reír en distintas ocasiones, pero no hubo nada que me sorprendiera y la sentí un poco plana, pero podría ser una buena pelicula para ver un domingo en familia.

This movie is set during the First World War, Frank is the captain of a ship and at the same time a tourist swindler but decides to go on an adventure in the jungle with a scientist and her brother to find the tree of life which has healing powers but on the way they will encounter various obstacles that will prevent them from achieving their goal.
Jungle Cruise is a simple adventure movie, it is exactly that and it may have things that I liked and others that not so much, it is quite entertaining 90% of the film but there are some moments where I came to think that two hours for this movie was a lot, another noteworthy factor is the performances, although they were not roles with extreme difficulties if it seems to me that the charisma that has the protagonists is a highlight.
The film may have interesting twists, others a little forced but they help us to empathize a little more with the characters which is the important thing, I must admit that I am not a big fan of this style of film, I like them to see them with the family because they are usually fun, but objectively they do not convince me.
Jungle cruise can be very enjoyable, it can have witty jokes, so I recommend watching it with the family, also we must not forget that it is a Disney movie, so you can already get an idea of where the movie is going.
This movie is based on the attraction of the same name of the Disney theme park, and although at the time of executing the adaptation the influence of films like Indiana Jones was noticed, it is not supported by a good plot, making the film is to see the protagonists jumping from here and there overloading the plot of obstacles making it a little tedious if you can say.
Overall I didn't dislike it, and I could laugh at different times, but there was nothing that surprised me and I felt it a little flat, but it could be a good movie to watch on a Sunday with the family.
