Hola hive, hoy les voy a hablar sobre una película bastante curiosa que vi hace unos días con mi familia, desde que salió tenía muchas ganas de verla, así que ayer buscando algo entretenido me topé con la pelicula y pensé “es ahora o nunca” y decidí por fin echarle un vistazo, por esa razón es que voy les vengo a hablar de Nope
Nope es una película de ciencia ficción y terror lanzada en el 2022, protagonizada por Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer y Brandon Perea, ademas está escrita y dirigida por Jordan Peele. Esta película nos sitúa en un rancho bastante alejado de las ciudades, donde suceden cosas extrañas y como empiezan a ver cosas sospechosas en el cielo deciden organizarse para poder capturar pruebas de lo que está sucediendo, sin embargo esto no va a ser tan fácil. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto ahora si comencemos.
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de esta película y sin duda es su concepto en general, normalmente me gusta las películas de suspenso donde no todo está explicito y hay que pensar un poco e ir uniendo cabos para así hacer que la historia vaya cobrando sentido, y así lograr mantenernos enganchados toda la película.
Otro aspecto que podría destacar es la gran dirección de Jordan Peele, y es que en varias películas nos ha demostrado que tiene una visión de dirección y de escritura bastante interesante y que lo diferencia del resto, como es de esperarse Nope no es la excepción a todo esto, teniendo así una identidad visual bastante marcada, ya que si conoces al director fácilmente con unas cuentas escenas puedes identificar que esta película es de el.
En cuanto a la historia pues admito que sabe manejar bien la incertidumbre y siempre estamos intentando descifrar que es lo que está sucediendo, así que mientras va transcurriendo la película se van aclarando algunas cosas que van haciendo que entendamos cada vez mejor lo que está sucediendo, también me gusta mucho como manejan en ocasiones historias paralelas a la principal, que de forma indirecta se van complementando.
El cast me parece bastante bueno y es que vas a uno de ellos hace un excelente trabajo, sin embargo el más destacable es Daniel Kaluuya quien hizo un excelente trabajo en Get Out y en esta ocasión vuelve a destacarse, y es que sin duda este tipo de personajes le quedan como anillo al dedo a este gran actor.
Admito que en momentos puede llegar a sentirse un poco densa y es que tiene una introducción larga y transcurre tiempo desde su inicio hasta que por fin llegamos a la trama “principal”, sin embargo obviamente dicha introducción es necesaria para adentrarnos más en este mundo y en la situación de nuestros protagonistas, pero si me daba risa a veces voltear y ver la cara de mi familia de que no entendían que estaba pasando.
De las dos películas que he visto de este director ambas me han gustado bastante y si siento que Get Out la disfrute mucho mas y la historia me parece más enganchante, pero Nope tampoco se queda atrás y sin duda logra estar a la altura de las expectativas que tenia. Ahora estoy ansioso por poder ver “Us” ya que también he leído que es una excelente película.
En conclusión Nope me parece una película bastante buena, sin embargo tienes que estar claro de que es una película que en momentos puede llegar a ser lenta y tienes que estar abierto a cualquier cosa, también recomiendo estar bastante atento a la hora de ver la película ya que así puedes estar pendiente de los detalles e ir uniendo tu mismo los Cabos y sacando conclusiones. Sin duda una excelente película, totalmente recomendada!

Hi hive, today I'm going to talk about a rather curious movie I saw a few days ago with my family, since it came out I really wanted to see it, so yesterday looking for something entertaining I came across the movie and I thought "it's now or never" and decided to finally take a look at it, for that reason is that I'm going to talk about Nope.
Nope is a sci-fi/horror movie released in 2022, starring Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer and Brandon Perea, it is also written and directed by Jordan Peele. This film places us in a ranch quite far from the cities, where strange things happen and as they begin to see suspicious things in the sky decide to organize to capture evidence of what is happening, however this will not be so easy. Having given a little context, now let's begin.
First I always like to start talking about what I love most about this movie and without a doubt is its concept in general, I usually like thrillers where not everything is explicit and you have to think a little and go connecting the dots to make the story make sense, and thus manage to keep us hooked throughout the film.
Another aspect that I could highlight is the great direction of Jordan Peele, and is that in several films has shown us that he has a vision of direction and writing quite interesting and that sets him apart from the rest, as expected Nope is no exception to all this, thus having a fairly strong visual identity, because if you know the director easily with a few scenes you can identify that this film is his.
As for the story, I admit that it knows how to handle uncertainty well and we are always trying to decipher what is happening, so as the film progresses some things are clarified that make us understand better and better what is happening, I also like how they sometimes handle parallel stories to the main one, which indirectly complement each other.
The cast seems to me quite good and you go to one of them does an excellent job, however the most remarkable is Daniel Kaluuya who did an excellent job in Get Out and this time again stands out, and no doubt this type of characters fit like a glove to this great actor.
I admit that at times it can feel a little dense and it has a long introduction and it takes time from the beginning until we finally get to the "main" plot, but obviously this introduction is necessary to get deeper into this world and the situation of our protagonists, but it did make me laugh sometimes to turn around and see the face of my family that did not understand what was happening.
Of the two films I've seen from this director I liked both and I feel that I enjoyed Get Out much more and the story seems more engaging, but Nope is no slouch either and certainly manages to live up to the expectations I had. Now I am anxious to see "Us" as I have also read that it is an excellent film.
In conclusion Nope seems to me a pretty good movie, however you have to be clear that it is a movie that at times can be slow and you have to be open to anything, I also recommend being quite attentive when watching the movie so you can be aware of the details and go joining yourself the capes and drawing conclusions. Undoubtedly an excellent movie, totally recommended!
