Shang chi y la leyenda de los Díez anillos es una película estadounidense producida por Marvel Studios y distribuida por Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Esta película está dirigida por Destin Daniel Cretton y protagonizada por Simu Liu, junto a Tony Leung y Awkwafina.
Shang chi es un personaje que no habíamos visto en el MCU por lo que esta película es prácticamente una introducción de este personaje y desde un inicio ya deducimos más o menos el tipo de película que va a ser.
Quiero empezar mencionando lo bueno o positivo de esta película: Shang chi tiene una trama bastante sólida, la manera en que nos muestran por primera vez al personaje me parece cool, y ver como se va desarrollando mas este personaje y todos los que lo rodean, siento que ya Marvel tiene demasiado estructurado como presentar personajes nuevos, ya Marvel es una máquina de generar historias para los personajes y poder integrarlos al MCU, y claro que si, esto tiene su mérito pero esto también puede tener su lado negativo.
Como dije anteriormente Marvel ya tiene prácticamente una fórmula para sus películas y con algunas le funciona, pero Shang chi se me hizo una película más, no tiene esencia propia o un estilo propio, utilizan el mismo tipo de humor, el mismo tipo de personajes, uno que otro giro en la trama, y la verdad es que todo esto ya se me hace muy repetitivo dentro de Marvel, específicamente ese humor que intentan meter de manera forzada en cada película, por supuesto hay personajes y películas donde si encaja este estilo como puede ser en Guardianes de la galaxia o Spiderman, pero ya que todas las películas sean iguales me parece que aburre un poco.
En mi opinión Marvel debería buscar variar más su estilo de películas, derrepente hacer películas que tengan una vibra un poco más seria y oscura, y no que todo sea los mismos tipos de chistes una y otra vez, no se si me explico.
Obviamente ya esto es una crítica más que todo al rumbo que está tomando el MCU más que a Shang Chi en general, pero es que si nos ponemos a analizar esta película objetivamente obviamente no va a ser mala, tiene una trama bastante decente buenas actuaciones, efectos por computadora perfectamente logrados y hasta un soundtrack agradable. Sin embargo al no tener su esencia propia puede pasar un poco desapercibida, siento que los guiños a películas anteriores al MCU y los mismos chisten de siempre ya no son suficientes.

Shang chi is a character that we had not seen in the MCU so this movie is practically an introduction of this character and from the beginning we already deduce more or less the kind of movie it is going to be.
I want to start by mentioning the good or positive of this movie: Shang chi has a pretty solid plot, the way in which we are shown for the first time the character seems cool to me, and see how this character and all those around him are developing more, I feel that Marvel already has too structured how to introduce new characters, Marvel is already a machine to generate stories for the characters and to integrate them into the MCU, and of course yes, this has its merit but this can also have its negative side.
As I said before Marvel already has practically a formula for their movies and with some of them it works, but Shang chi felt like just another movie, it doesn't have its own essence or style, they use the same type of humor, the same type of characters, one or another twist in the plot, And the truth is that all this is already very repetitive in Marvel, specifically that humor that they try to put in a forced way in every movie, of course there are characters and movies where this style fits as in Guardians of the galaxy or Spiderman, but since all the movies are the same I think it's a little boring.
In my opinion Marvel should look to vary more their style of movies, suddenly make movies that have a little more serious and dark vibe, and not everything is the same type of jokes over and over again, I do not know if I understand.
Obviously this is a criticism more than anything to the direction that the MCU is taking rather than Shang Chi in general, but if we analyze this movie objectively it's obviously not going to be bad, it has a pretty decent plot, good performances, computer effects perfectly achieved and even a nice soundtrack. However, since it doesn't have its own essence it can go a bit unnoticed, I feel that the winks to previous MCU movies and the same old jokes are no longer enough.
