Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar de una película que me llamo mucho la atención desde el primer momento, porque tenía una propuesta que de por si me daba risa, así que tenía que echarle vistazo a ver si efectivamente le hacía justicia a lo que prometía o no, por esta razón es que hoy les vengo a hablar de Strays
Strays (o Hijos de perra como se le conoce en Latinoamérica) es una película de comedia y aventura lanzada en el 2023, dirigida por Josh Greenbaum y protagonizada por increíbles actores como por Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Will Forte, Isla Fisher, Randall Park y Sofia Vergara. La película nos muestra a un grupo de perros callejeros que se lanzan a una aventura con el objetivo de vengar a su amigo perruno, a la vez de que van creciendo como personas o mejor dicho como perros. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto ahora si comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película y en este caso admito que lo primero que me impresionó bastante es el gran cast con el que cuenta Stray, y es que ver a actores como Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Isla Fisher juntos en una película es genial, además de que sin duda logran plasmar una identidad muy cool a cada uno de sus personajes.
Quiero destacar otro aspecto y es el humor de la película y es que sin duda se nota que este es el fuerte de Stray ya que realmente la premisa es súper sencilla y lo que da forma a la película es ver como nuestros protagonistas asumen cada situación generando así comedia en muchos momentos de la película y es que hay que estar claro que Stray es chiste tras de chiste una y otra vez sin parar, pero me parece que funciona bastante bien y logra el objetivo que es divertir.
Llevando a la película a un plano más complejo me gusta como en momentos intentan reflejar el como es vivir siendo una mascota, dejándonos en claro que es lo que sienten y que es lo piensan en muchas situaciones, una de mis escenas favoritas es la de los fuegos artificiales, porque en esta podemos ver como es vivir esta experiencia desde la perspectiva de un perro, aparte de que es una escena súper cómica, entonces nos hace crear conciencia y también nos reímos ¿que más podemos pedir?
La película es cero densa y en ningún momento se siente pesada, y es que de por si es una película corta, pero es que es tan divertida que el ritmo se cuente bastante dinámico y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos ya estamos en el final viendo el gran desenlace.
Si es verdad que Stray puede llegar a caer en muchos chistes simples o predecibles, tampoco es una comedia extremadamente innovadora ni nada por el estilo, pero siento que aunque es un humor bastante básico de igual forma esta bien hecho y eso se nota, porque al fin y al cabo da risa, así que funciona y eso es lo más importante de todo.
Me sorprendió mucho el arco de personaje que le dieron a cada uno de los perritos, nos muestran un poco de su pasado y nos hacen comprender el contexto de cada uno, eso me parece genial porque nos ayuda a empatizar con ellos, además son perritos obviamente son adorables.
En conclusión Stray me sorprendió de una gran manera, sinceramente no me esperaba pasármela tan bien y es que tiene un excelente humor, un buen cast, pero aparte de todo esto también hay en el fondo un mensaje de conciencia hacia nosotros que se valora bastante, así que sin duda para mi es una gran película y está totalmente recomendada!

Hello hive, today I come to talk about a movie that caught my attention from the first moment, because it had a proposal that in itself gave me laughter, so I had to take a look to see if it actually did justice to what it promised or not, for this reason is that today I come to talk about Strays.
Strays is a comedy-adventure movie released in 2023, directed by Josh Greenbaum and starring amazing actors such as Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Will Forte, Isla Fisher, Randall Park and Sofia Vergara. The movie shows us a group of stray dogs that go on an adventure with the goal of avenging their doggy friend, while growing as people or rather as dogs. Having given a little context, let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I loved most about the movie and in this case I admit that the first thing that impressed me is the great cast that Stray has, and seeing actors like Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Isla Fisher together in a movie is great, plus they certainly manage to capture a very cool identity to each of their characters.
I want to highlight another aspect and that is the humor of the film and it is certainly noticeable that this is the strength of Stray since the premise is really super simple and what shapes the film is to see how our protagonists assume each situation thus generating comedy in many moments of the film and it must be clear that Stray is joke after joke over and over again without stopping, but I think it works pretty well and achieves the goal which is to entertain.
Taking the film to a more complex plane I like how at times they try to reflect how it is to live being a pet, making it clear what they feel and what they think in many situations, one of my favorite scenes is the fireworks, because in this we can see how it is to live this experience from the perspective of a dog, besides it is a super funny scene, so it makes us raise awareness and we also laugh, what more can we ask for?
The film is not dense and at no time feels heavy, and it is in itself a short film, but it is so much fun that the pace is quite dynamic and in the blink of an eye we are already at the end watching the great denouement.
It is true that Stray can fall into many simple or predictable jokes, it is not an extremely innovative comedy or anything like that, but I feel that although it is a fairly basic humor is still well done and that shows, because at the end of the day it gives laughter, so it works and that's the most important thing of all.
I was very surprised by the character arc they gave to each of the dogs, they show us a little of their past and make us understand the context of each one, I think it's great because it helps us to empathize with them, plus they are obviously adorable dogs.
In conclusion Stray surprised me in a great way, honestly I did not expect to have such a good time and it has an excellent humor, a good cast, but apart from all this there is also in the background a message of awareness towards us that is quite valued, so no doubt for me it is a great movie and is totally recommended!
