The Suicide Squad es una pelicula estadounidense lanzada por Warner Bros. Pictures en el 2021, es la "secuela" de la película del mismo nombre lanzada en el 2016, sin embargo no es mucha la relación que existen entre ambas. Esta escrita y dirigida por James Gunn, protagonizada por un extenso cast formado por: Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Sylvester Stallone, Viola Davis, Daniela Melchior y Peter Capaldi.
Esta película nos muestra a la oficial de inteligencia Amanda Waller, esta reúne a un equipo de prisioneros para cumplir con una misión del gobierno de Estados Unidos, todo esto a cambio de la libertad del equipo que está formado por Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Peacemaker (John Cena), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Nanaue (Sylvester Stallone) y Cleo Cazo (Daniela Melchior)
Suicide Squad me sorprendió bastante, la primera no me convenció tanto pero al ver esta me doy cuenta que DC todavía tiene material para surgir.
La estética que mantiene toda la película me gusta bastante y la comedia es una de las bases principales para que esta película funcione, sin embargo he visto opiniones divididas, hay gente que no le gusto la estética de la película porque les parece un poco dark, pero a mi en lo personal esto fue uno de los factores que más. E llamó la atención.
En mi opinión DC para poder surgir correctamente debe encontrar su camino a la hora de hacer peliculas, debería seguir esta estática porque me parece que seria una manera distinta a la de marvel, en la primera versión de Justice League vimos que copiar la fórmula marvel no les funciona, DC puede dirigirse a hacer películas un poco más densas como Justice League Snyder's Cut o un humor así como lo hicieron en esta película de Suicide Squad
El cast de esta película está excelente y las actuaciones ni se diga, Margot Robbie como Harley Quinn es perfecta, pero deja chance a que otros personajes resalten como bloodsport y nos da espacio a que empaticemos con cada uno de ellos, Todo lo contrario a lo que hicieron en la primera película.
La dirección de esta película me encantó, James Gunn hizo un excelente trabajo, hay una que otra escena que si puedo decir que estuvo de más, pero en líneas general tiene una dirección bastante auténtica.
Siento que esta película puede ser el principio de una buena era para DC, espero que lo aprovechen, porque aunque esta muy lejos de ser perfecta, si es de lo mejor que han hecho.
La recomiendo, a mi me sorprendió bastante, tal vez no sea una película para todo el mundo, pero si logras enganchar te va a gustar

Suicide Squad surprised me quite a bit, the first one didn't convince me as much but watching this one I realize that DC still has material to emerge.
I like the aesthetics of the whole movie and the comedy is one of the main bases for this movie to work, however I have seen divided opinions, there are people who did not like the aesthetics of the movie because it seems a little dark, but to me personally this was one of the factors that most. E caught my attention.
In my opinion DC to be able to emerge correctly must find its way when making movies, it should follow this static because it seems to me that it would be a different way to Marvel, in the first version of Justice League we saw that copying the Marvel formula does not work, DC can go to make movies a little more dense as Justice League Snyder's Cut or a humor like they did in this Suicide Squad movie.
The cast of this movie is excellent and the performances not to mention, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn is perfect, but leaves chance for other characters to stand out as bloodsport and gives us space to empathize with each of them, Quite the opposite of what they did in the first movie.
I loved the direction of this movie, James Gunn did an excellent job, there is one scene or another that I can say that it was too much, but in general it has a very authentic direction.
I feel that this movie could be the beginning of a good era for DC, I hope they take advantage of it, because although it is far from perfect, it is one of the best they have done.
I recommend it, I was quite surprised, it may not be a movie for everyone, but if you get hooked you will like it.
