Hace unos días vi la película "The Tomorrow War" y me generó muchas opiniones y distintos sentimientos, por eso en este post quiero traerles un Review sobre esta película.

The Tomorrow War es una película estadounidense de acción y ciencia ficción lanzada en el 2021, dirigida por Chris McKay y protagonizada por Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, J. K. Simmons y Betty Gilpin.

La película nos muestra a Dan Forester (un profesor de ciencias) y su esposa Emmy y su hija Muri, mientras ellos ven un partido de fútbol llegan soldados del futuro (exactamente del 2051) a advertir a el planeta que estamos cerca a la extinción debido a una guerra alienígena, empiezan a reclutar ciudadanos para ir a luchar en el futuro, reclutan a Dan Forester y es aquí donde se empieza a poner interesante.
The movie shows us Dan Forester (a science teacher) and his wife Emmy and their daughter Muri, while they are watching a soccer game, soldiers from the future (exactly from 2051) arrive to warn the planet that we are close to extinction due to an alien war, they start recruiting citizens to go and fight in the future, they recruit Dan Forester and this is where it starts to get interesting.
A mi la verdad es que las películas de invasión alienígenas no me suelen gustar mucho, de las que he visto muy poco me han gustado, por lo que cuando vi que esta película tenía más o menos esa temática entonces al principio no estaba muy convencido, por esta razón mis expectativas eran bastante bajas.
The truth is that I usually don't like alien invasion movies very much, of the ones I've seen very little I liked, so when I saw that this movie had more or less that theme then at first I was not very convinced, for this reason my expectations were quite low.
Para mi sorpresa en los primeros 10 minutos que se plantea la trama de la película debo admitir que me engancho, quería ver con qué me sorprendía y como resolvían todo, la película tiene ese factor de que uno quiere saber como se resuelve todo entonces lo mantiene a uno entretenido hasta el final, creo que en ningún momento me aburrí, es bastante entretenida.
To my surprise in the first 10 minutes that the plot of the film is raised I must admit that I was hooked, I wanted to see what surprised me and how they solved everything, the film has that factor that you want to know how everything is resolved then keeps you entertained until the end, I think I never got bored, it is quite entertaining.
La actuaciones son bastante buenas y aunque Chris Prat hace un papel similar a el que ha venido haciendo en distintas películas, su historia en esta hace que uno empatice con su personaje y por todo lo que vive, por eso los momentos de la película que son sentimentales considero que están bastante logrados.
The performances are quite good and although Chris Prat plays a role similar to the one he has been playing in different films, his story in this one makes you empathize with his character and everything he goes through, so the moments of the film that are sentimental I think are quite successful.
Recomiendo esta pelicula como una buena película para pasar el rato, no es una obra maestra pero entretiene y sorprende (en mi opinión)
I recommend this movie as a good movie to pass the time, it is not a masterpiece but it entertains and surprises (in my opinion).
