Since I saw the amount of memes that were being produced about this film, I simply had to see it and give my support to the arepa with a flag, one of the best culinary inventions of humanity, and to feel proud, it was invented in Venezuela, no in Colombia, jajaja. Normalmente cuando ves una película cómica para toda la familia no te esperas el mejor trabajo de la historia del cine, aunque han habido algunas excepciones, está lastimosamente no lo es, pues a pesar de tener unos momentos buenos y cómicos, gran parte de la cinta es simplemente aburrida ya que termina siendo sosa e inofensiva.
Normally when you see a comic movie for the whole family, you don't expect the best work in the history of cinema, although there have been some exceptions, it is unfortunately not, because despite having some good and funny moments, a large part of the film it's just boring as it ends up being bland and harmless.

La premisa de este filme no termina siendo muy original, ya que si te fijas en otras comedias, especial referencia a "Si Señor" de Jim Carrey, vemos una clara semejanza, pero a pesar de estar hecha para entretener, y lo cumple, donde falla de forma más contundente es en el apartado emocional, tratan de hacer girar todo en relación a los lazos familiares, pero no consiguen nada demasiado creíble.

En cuanto a la dirección y el guión de la película no es realmente algo para resaltar, pero tampoco es un trabajo mediocre. La historia que nos cuentan llega a ser muy predecible, aunque logra entretener, un trabajo muy de la línea de la producciones de este tipo, cumpliendo el objetivo principal, generar algo de risa y mantenernos pegados a la pantalla mirando las locuras y los problemas de primer mundo de esta familia.
As for the direction and the script of the film it is not really something to stand out, but it is not a mediocre work either. Jennifer Garner y Edgar Ramirez son los actores principales, viendo mucho más cómoda a la primera, dejando muy claro que este tipo de películas le sientan muy bien, pues lleva mejor el papel de la madre que se aloca y se la pasa muy bien, mientras que con el venezolano es raro verlo en producción así, estando más relacionado con películas dramáticas, aunque haciendo algo que le gusta, mostrar que puede ser multifacético.

Una de las peores cosas es que a pesar de que es un día soñado para cualquier niño, en el que casi cualquiera de tus sueños pueden cumplirse en 24 horas, sola la segunda y la cuarta actividad escogida son realmente geniales y los actores juveniles quedan mucho a deber, con énfasis en Jenna Ortega, que a pesar de ya tener algo de experiencia, termina siendo todo muy sobreactuado.
