Entre todas las locuras que se pueden conseguir hoy en día en la internet, conseguí esta película, que me pareció increíblemente loca, teniendo un guión tan ridículo y sin sentido, y unas actuaciones tan malas, que provocan es risa, terminando con ganas de ver qué puede pasar.
Among all the crazy things that can be achieved today on the internet, I got this movie, which seemed incredibly crazy to me, having such a ridiculous and senseless script, and such bad performances, that they cause laughter, ending up wanting to see what can happen.
Y es que haciendo una review de una película así no nos podemos tomar muy en serio todo, ya que solo con el título nos podemos hacer una idea de que vamos a ver. El tópico principal de la película son los Dibbuk, que son espíritus malignos del folclore judío, que poseen a las personas para terminar cosas pendientes en la tierra, siendo este concepto lo mejor del filme.
And it is that doing a review of a film like this we cannot take everything very seriously, since only with the title we can get an idea of what we are going to see. La historia gira en torno de Francesca, una chica algo solitaria, que parece ser perseguida por personas muy extrañas o que son susceptibles a generar adicciones. Un día recibe un sofá en su casa, que al parecer está poseído por el alma de un antiguo novio, quien utilizo magia vudú para lograrlo.
The story revolves around Francesca, a somewhat lonely girl, who seems to be persecuted by very strange people or who are susceptible to generating addictions. One day she receives a sofa in her house, which is apparently possessed by the soul of an old boyfriend, who used voodoo magic to achieve it.
El sofá, enamorado de Francesca, empieza a cometer asesinatos pasionales. La primera víctima es su actual novio, al cual volvió carne molida, jajaja, mientras que el segundo es un acosador de Francesca que se cuela en su casa para hacer cosas muy raras (eso sí se lo merecía por ser tan raro, jajaja) y así sucesivamente el sofá sigue haciendo de las suyas. Todo esto llama la atención de la policía, que empieza a investigar los asesinatos.
The sofa, in love with Francesca, begins to commit passionate murders. The first victim is her current boyfriend, to whom ground meat returned, jajaja, while the second is a stalker of Francesca who sneaks into her house to do very strange things (that he deserved it for being so weird, hahaha) and so on the sofa continues to do its thing. Las actuaciones son muy malas, provocándome risa en algunos momentos, en otros me llegaron a irritar los gritos o escenas sobreactuadas, pero la risa ganó en en este aspecto. Otra cosa negativa fue que me sentí algo estafado, el sofá de la película no tiene la pinta del sofá del póster, no se pudieron hacer algo para hacerlo más atemorizante.
The performances are very bad, causing me to laugh at times, at others screams or over-acted scenes irritated me, but laughter won in this regard. Another negative thing was that I felt a bit ripped off, the couch in the movie doesn't look like the couch in the poster, they couldn't do something to make it scarier.
Hay muchas otras cosas sin sentido, siendo las principales una escena de Francesca que se pone un poco caliente toqueteando el mueble, otra donde explican la historia de sus antepasados con afirmaciones demasiados obvias y muy sobreactuadas, y por último la que se lleva el premio, la estupidez de Francesca no tiene límite al no darle sus pastillas al abuelo de su amiga mientras sufría un infarto y se llevó una cajita, en la que intento meter el sofá, jajaja.
There are many other nonsensical things, the main ones being a scene of Francesca who gets a little hot fingering the furniture, another where they explain the history of their ancestors with statements that are too obvious and too over-acting, and finally the one that takes the prize, Francesca's stupidity has no limits by not giving her friend's grandfather her pills while she was suffering from a heart attack and she took a box, in which she tried to put the sofa, jajaja.
En conclusión, vean esta película si están dispuestos a perder 1:20h de su vida, ya que les aseguro que no es para todos los gustos. El concepto de los demonios me pareció lo más interesante, al igual que el final, que me pareció de lo mejor logrado en la cinta, además que abre la puerta a una secuela.
