Changing channels on my television because I was not getting anything good to watch, by chance I found this movie, but when it was almost finished I wrote down its name and I saw it a few days ago.
Incredibly, it is not as bad as its name may indicate, although we are honest, it draws a lot of attention. For the little ones in the house it can serve very well.
Sinopsis Oficial / Official Synopsis:
"Twelve-year-old Rod Allbright and his cousin, Elspeth, help the Galactic Patrol protect Earth from a threat."
The story is very simple, some aliens come to earth to save it from a threat that endangers their existence, but they have an accident, so they have to find a way to return to normal to save the planet.
In the process they ask for help from some children, who will be in charge of helping them to return to normality and in the process, mature and be better, in addition to becoming the true heroes of the adventure.
The performance of the children's protagonists is according to what we expect from this type of film, nothing extremely good. If we talk about aliens, it is very similar, except for Phil de Plant (William Shatter) who was the one I liked the most, despite only being a plant.
The film is science fiction with some comic touches, which makes it a very good option to place this film for the little ones in the house, although an adult with a child's soul could enjoy it too.
The film is based on a children's book of the same name, written in the 90s. Another incredible fact is that it took more than 20 years for the film of this story to be made, when they generally forget these works even with less time.
