Después de ver la película live action de esta saga hace pocos días, de verdad tenía muchas esperanzas con esta películas, y más pensando en su precuela, que también es oro puro para los más acérrimos fans de la franquicia, que lo que buscamos son buenas peleas, sangre y escenas depravadas, jajaja. Y como no podía ser de otra forma, no decepcionó, con imágenes tal vez un poco más fuertes y explícitas, pero en cambio con luchas un poco más cortas, pero igualmente entretenidas.
After seeing the live action film of this saga a few days ago, I really had high hopes with this film, and more thinking about its prequel, which is also pure gold for the most staunch fans of the franchise, that what we are looking for are good fights, blood and depraved scenes, jajaja. And how could it be otherwise, it did not disappoint, with images perhaps a little stronger and more explicit, but instead with slightly shorter fights, but equally entertaining.
La película se desarrolla en dos historias simultáneas, conectados en el inicio de la misma y ya para la conclusión y batalla final, estando todo creíblemente argumentado, hasta que llegas a los últimos 15 o 10 minutos, donde al parecer a los creadores se les acabó la imaginación y decidieron terminar de la manera más loca e impredecible... Con decirles que Lui Kang se transforma en un dragón...
The film is developed in two simultaneous stories, connected at the beginning of it and already for the conclusion and final battle, everything being credibly argued, until you reach the last 15 or 10 minutes, where apparently the creators ran out imagination and decided to end in the most crazy and unpredictable way... La primera de estas historias se desarrolla tiempo después de que Shao Kahn y su equipo perdieron el Mortal Kombat contra los guerreros de Raiden, por lo que con su ejército sigue intentando reinar a todas las realidades. Mientras se sucede otro ataque y Lui Kang y compañía están defendiendo un tiempo, Shao Kahn reta a Raiden a un nuevo Mortal Kombat, a lo que el dios del trueno acepta, incluso decidiendo participar, perdiendo su calidad de dios y volviéndose mortal. Sub Zero y Smoke estaban entrenando, cuando su maestro le da la misión de cazar a Escorpión, traicionandolos para volverlos robots, como Sektor y Cyrax. Sub Zero logra escapar pero atrapan a Smoke, con lo que será una carrera de tiempo entre los Cyborgs y Sub Zero para cazar a Escorpión. Mientras sucede todo esto, el Mortal Kombat a iniciado, y a pesar de lo que creeríamos, suceden varias muertes de personajes importantes, con unos cuantos sangrientos Fatalities incluidos.
Sub Zero and Smoke were training, when his teacher gives him the mission to hunt down the Scorpion, betraying them to turn them into robots, like Sektor and Cyrax. Sub Zero manages to escape but they catch Smoke, with what will be a time race between the Cyborgs and Sub Zero to hunt down the Scorpion. Escorpión tiene la llave dentro de si mismo para encontrar la última pieza de un ser divino, que se encargará de destruir todas las realidades, siendo este el objetivo oculto de su captura. Una vez dan con él, los Cyborgs toman la pieza que faltaba y Sub Zero y Escorpión tendrán que unir fuerzas para salvar al mundo. Por su parte, en el torneo Lui Kang es llamado por los dioses para intentar frenar la destrucción de las realidades, por lo que todos los guerreros lucharán contra este nuevo ente.
Scorpio has the key within himself to find the last piece of a divine being, who will be in charge of destroying all realities, this being the hidden objective of his capture. Once they find him, the Cyborgs take the missing piece and Sub Zero and Scorpion will have to join forces to save the world. For his part, in the tournament Lui Kang is called by the gods to try to stop the destruction of realities, so all the warriors will fight against this new entity.
Ambas historias se desarrollan bien hasta este punto, con alguna que otra inconsistencia, pero los minutos finales son una locura sin sentido, tienen que verlo, jajaja. Otra cosa que me gustó fue que a pesar de organizar otro torneo por la dominancia de todas las realidades, está franquicia no se queda solo en combates y allá, pudiendo contar y entrelazar otras historias a la esencia principal de Mortal Kombat.
Both stories play out well up to this point, with the odd inconsistency, but the final minutes are mindless madness, you have to see it, jajaja. Another thing that I liked was that despite organizing another tournament for the dominance of all realities, this franchise is not left alone in combats and there, being able to tell and intertwine other stories to the main essence of Mortal Kombat.
En conclusión, es una buena película si eres fan de la franquicia, pues tiene todo lo que nos gusta, combates, huesos rotos y desmembramientos, jajaja. La animación también me pareció muy buena, pero lo principal es la creación de nuevas historias para todos estos personajes, estableciendo un nuevo universo con sus propias aspiraciones para el futuro.
In conclusion, it is a good movie if you are a fan of the franchise, because it has everything we like, fighting, broken bones and dismemberment, jajaja. The animation also seemed very good to me, but the main thing is the creation of new stories for all these characters, establishing a new universe with its own aspirations for the future.
