Este tipo de películas casi siempre terminan siendo una copia de todos los filmes americanos de comedia física, donde buscan que los golpes nos saquen carcajadas y disimulen la ausencia de un guión bien escrito y concebido, aunque no quiero engañarlos, está no es una obra de arte cinematográfica, pero si tiene muchas cosas positivas y logra entretener e incluso incomodar de acuerdo a lo que la trama vaya necesitando.

Alice Eve y Jay Baruche logran un trabajo aceptable formando esa pareja dispareja, que refleja desde el inicio que son personas muy diferentes, contando también con un guión muy sencillo, pero que va al punto y no complica las cosas. Dentro de algunas cosas remarcables podemos mencionar como abordan la psicología de las parejas, y como la clasificación de la belleza de una y otra puede afectar las relaciones interpersonales de los implicados, llevando a complicar todo, pudiendo provocar rupturas por motivos muy tontos.
Alice Eve and Jay Baruche achieve an acceptable job forming that uneven couple, which reflects from the beginning that they are very different people, also having a very simple script, but that is to the point and does not complicate things. Hablando un poco más de la trama del filme, nos presentarán a Kirk, el típico chico introvertido que fue abandonado por su ex novia y que tanto sus amigos y su familia no respetan, con un trabajo sin mucho futuro, pero que cuenta con un buen corazón, además de ser muy honesto. En su trabajo como seguridad de un aeropuerto se consigue un teléfono, y para su suerte, termina siendo de una chica muy hermosa, quien agradecida por encontrarlo, lo invita a una fiesta en una galería de arte, y como no podría ser de otra forma, es un desastre total.
Speaking a little more about the plot of the film, they will introduce us to Kirk, the typical introverted boy who was abandoned by his ex-girlfriend and who both his friends and family do not respect, with a job without much future, but who has a good heart, besides being very honest. In his job as airport security he gets a phone, and luckily it ends up being a very beautiful girl, who, grateful for finding him, invites him to a party in an art gallery, and how could it be otherwise, it's a total disaster.
Sintiéndose apenada, Molly le da dos entradas para un partido de Hockey, aceptándolas de buena manera, pero sin imaginarse que aquella chica lo estaba invitando a una cita. Apartir de allí, empiezan a salir pero se nota a leguas que no encajan en lo más mínimo. Los amigos y la familia de Kirk dudan de esta relación, ya que en palabras de todos ella es "un 10 total", mientras que el solo puede aspirar a conseguir 5.

Esto hace que su autoestima y confianza este por el suelo, a pesar de que Molly, que de verdad le gustaba mucho, estuviera totalmente decidida a conquistarlo. Kirk empieza a tomar confianza de poco y termina arruinando todo por un malentendido y una mala imagen ante los padre de Molly, pero trata de seguir adelante y buscar otra oportunidad con ella.

Con el pasar de los minutos, podemos ver como se resume lo que muchas personas esperamos o soñamos con lo que podría ser nuestra pareja, pero no todo el tiempo las cosas así, la vida es muy diferente al igual que las personas, y a veces pensando como debería ser nuestra compañera sentimental, obviamos cosas muy importantes, llegando a frustraciones o relaciones que al final del día nunca tendrán un significado más allá del como me veo con ella o que tan bella es.

En conclusión, el largometraje no explora realmente muchas de las cosas que aquí expongo, lo que es una lastima ya que lo haría mucho mejor. Si estás en busca de un entretenimiento ligero y eres muy quisquilloso, está película funcionará muy bien contigo, además que te prometo que te sacará algunas risas, o al menos te haría sentir pena ajena por el personaje de Kirk, jajaja.
In conclusion, the feature film does not really explore many of the things that I present here, which is a shame since it would do much better. If you are looking for some light entertainment and you are very picky, this movie will work very well with you, plus I promise it will get you some laughs, or at least it will make you feel sorry for the character of Kirk, jajaja.
