Una película con una temática fuerte, a pesar de que ya tiene casi 90 años de su estreno, ya que toca temas de infidelidades, prostitución, adulterio y todo esto llegado a cabo en una plantación de caucho en el continente Asiático (ya que la censura nacería unos años después).

Comenzamos viendo a Dennis (Clark Gable) paseando por la plantación para luego llegar a la casa principal que conseguir a Vantine (Jean Harlow), una mujerzuela que escabulló en una embarcación para llegar alla.
En una principio vemos una relación tensa entre estos todos, que con el paso del tiempo y con Dennis cayendo en los encantos de la mujer y dejando a un lado su "amargura" como tienen "un momento".

Las actuaciones del trío que conforman el trío amoroso Dennis, Vantine y Barbara fue muy buena, pero aún no he mencionado a Hoy (Willie Fung), el sirviente de raíces asiáticas que con ciertos comentarios y su personalidad graciosa me hizo más amena la película, además de su escena final, que me dio demasiada risa.
Como ya lo mencioné antes el ingenio para grabar la película fue algo interesante y hablando de lo negativo, la historia estuvo algo forzada, haciendo a veces que no tuviera sentido, pero en líneas generales está bien.

As I mentioned before, the ingenuity to record the film was something interesting and speaking of the negative, the story was somewhat forced, sometimes making it meaningless, but in general it is fine.
