Tal cual como muy probablemente nos va a pasar a nosotros mismo si no cambiamos muchas cosas en nuestra sociedad, la trama de esta película empieza con el inminente fin de la Tierra gracias al cambio climático, pero por suerte para la humanidad, han descubierto un planeta que podría albergar vida, por lo que se pone en marcha una misión para colonizar este "nuevo mundo".

A mi parecer se expresa muy bien la naturaleza humana, pues a pesar de todo seguimos siendo animales, y es que si lo piensas más detenidamente, los genes para crear a estos humanos fueron escogidos con mucho cuidado, fueron educados desde muy pequeños y especializados en diferentes áreas, además que fueron dopados para no ocasionar conflictos, pero apenas unos días que dejaron todo atrás, unos se volvieron animales asesinos dejando el razonamiento de un lado y otros lucharon por mantener a flote la sociedad que les llevo a estar donde están.

Otra cosa sin sentido es el azul (la droga), pues a pesar de tomarla por muchos años, solo dejo secuelas e impidió una correcta formación de la personalidad a todos los personajes que no son principales, ya que todos parecen unos zombies, muy conveniente para la trama...
