Constantine (2014-2015) is a horror, thriller television series. Though start was impressive but we only got to see the first season of the series.
Story:
In simple words the series is about ghost or spirit hunting. But the series evolves with the formula of a detective series. In each episode , the protagonist, John Constantine played by Matt Ryan solves a case of bad spirit attack. In every episode we see a little bit of his past, how he failed others. In the last episode he defeated the ultimate villain. I believe his personal experiences should have been more into the screenplay. Thus, the audience would have been able to relate and sympathize with the protagonist. I was an average series. You can have a look at it as a fun, not too deep entertainer.
Acting:
Matt Ryan played the over the top mass appealing JOHN CONSTANTINE who is not feared by the death of spirit. The other characters just did well, but not too much remember able. The supporting actors should have been more powerful into the series.
