This new 8 episode TV show is based on popular Tom Clancy character Jack Ryan, a CIA analyst and specialist working on preventing terrorist attacks.
This show will quickly remind you of Homeland, equally interesting, although slightly overextended series about terrorism, if you like that type of television series Jack Ryan should be a no brainer for anyone who liked Homeland.
It is a good thriller filled with action and it will keep you hooked until you finish watching it. It is interesting to see comedic actor John Krasinsky try more serious roles like Jack Ryan, from the Office to an action star, big change for him and he did a great job.
Story is fairly straight forward, Jack discovers some suspicious money transfers implicating some unknown parties trying to organize some big attack. His investigation quickly moves him in the middle of action after a series of attacks on civilians in Paris. He was soon placed as one of the main operatives ordered to catch this smart new terrorist threat.
This show will also explore some of the today's leading issues world is having right now like all the immigrants trying to find a better life far from dangers of their homelands.
Overall this show is nothing ground breaking, but if that is your cup of tea why not try it out. Score: 7.9/10.
