Season 1 (no Spoilers)
Fortitude might be one of the more interesting new TV Shows for past couple of years. It is a mystery-crime show with elements of supernatural. Story is about Norwegian Arctic town Fortitude and it's citizens from all over the world who came to the city to escape their previous lives. It is a barren and cold place with at first glance good and decent people. Cinematography in this show is some of the best you will get a chance to see with constant ice and snow with a glance of Aurora Borealis. This show will immerse you like no other once plots starts to thicken with unexplained murders that started happening when a Mammoth carcass was discovered. There are so many great moments in this show and it will keep you guessing until the end.
Actors did an outstanding job in this series and some famous actors like Stanley Tucci who played a detective was excellent, but the show's outstanding acting job goes to Richard Dormer who plays a local sheriff Dan Anderssen.
Season 2 (no Spoilers)
2nd season is also very good as Fortitude started recovering from the disaster that happened not too long ago. The peace was short lasted as beheaded bodies started to appear and the town had a new Killer, or Killers on the loose. You will never know who did it until deep into the season. Denis Quaid joined the cast in this season and Michelle Fairley (lady Stark). And again Richard Dormer did an excellent job as Dan. It is hard to speak any more about the plot without spoiling it, it is very interesting and if you like mystery shows look now further. Fortitude for me is 9/10!
