We all know that any movie that Jackie directed or appears it's definitely going to be a banger, back to he will always deliver, The shadow's edge movie is a Chinese movie, it's a crime, action and high technology movie. Just like the young Jackie Chan, this movie comprises alot of actions.
It started with a group of five people and their leader who is called Shadow, five boys who are highly good in so many activities, hacking, martial arts and changing of their appearances when they are on mission. Shadow who was for once a notorious killer and stealing from any companies has for once stole a lot of money and disappeared. But now he find five people one is hacker and the rest will carry out their missions. They call their leader godfather because he was the one that took care of them since they were little.
Their missions is always successful and they have never been caught on camera before, however on this day they need to carry out a mission and steal some encrypted crypto they had their plans figured out already, they went to the company and steal what they had to steal, the police got to know about this and start trailing them, meanwhile the Shadows hacker has already hacked into the police system and got all their information while he was delivering the information to it's group, but then they got greedy, they were supposed to finish the mission in just three minutes and leave, but their greediness they stole what they even didn't plan to steal even after their godfather warned them.
For the first time they were caught on camera, although some of their faces were viped but not everything. Meanwhile they are so skilled and still got away but this little mistakes give a clue for the police officers. Meanwhile their godfather got angry and they were all punished when they got back home.
The police officers had a meeting and decided they will go old school, the way they normally go before the intervention of technology because normally they always got hacked and without technology if they can go old school they will not be getting hacked, at this point they need someone who have the knowledge and the training of going old school. They hired Jackie Chan who is known as officer Wong.
They sent officer Qiuguo to trail him and bring him back to the station, officer Wong who has left police force and retired after the incident of his best friend that got killed during their operation, this his so called friend happens to be the father of Qiuguo, she inherited her father's work and since then officer Wong has promised to take care of Qiuguo his best friend daughter, unknowingly to her. And he has been watching Qiuguo since her father's dimise.
Officer Wong, who now works at the pet station, was able to identify what they were missing when he saw the video taken on the of the operation before they got hacked, he identified them all and set a small team to go low and catch this group called Shadow.
On the other hand, the godfather of shadows told his sons to have a personal life but since the day of the incident they all had a mind to betray their father which they actually did. Shadow got all of them killed because they are no match for him. At the end he also met his own match which is officer Wong and the daughter.
The movie is good to to watch, and if you like crime movie and a high technology movie then you can go for it.
