Man of war movie is an interesting action movie, although I have seen a particular story like this before, I will say it's not that hundred new. But then I love the story line as it's requires lots of war and shooting in it. The movie started with actions and finished with actions. It is not just an ordinary rescue mission it also talk about war, especially it was during Russia and Ukraine war this rescue began.
It is a rescue mission, a guy called Mike who happens to be an uncle to Lary, his best friend was ambushed in a mission. Someone he cares about so much he went to a mission and lost his Life. Since then only thing left for her is Lary and he has sown that since he couldn't protect his best friend is going to protect Lary, Lary happens to be his best friend sister so she's like an uncle to him.
He was home resting, until he got a call from Lary that she was about to get kidnapped. Fortunately for Mike he picked on time and the guy that kidnapped Lary even talked to Mike but he doesn't care. She was kidnapped and Mike who will do everything do protect his best friend sister stood up immediately and called his partner who is working with to make an arrangement for him to travel immediately. So she could be able to save Lary on time before it's too late.
He dressed up and moved immediately, his partner already makes an arrangement of everything for him. Including the tour guy who is going to safeguard him to the territory of the enemy. Fortunately for him he found the tour guy on time. But he has to negotiate with him, to risk his life the tour guy wants his family to be moved out of the country to a safe place. Their country has been ambushed and every living thing there has been killed.
The deal is done and the tour guy fought in line with Mike. Mike on the other hand who has been tracking Lary watch, got to find out that Lary watch has been stolen buy some of the soldiers that apprehended her and the guy has been killed where he found the watch. He got disappointed but later they link up with people, other soldiers that was prepared by his so called friend.
They got to the destination, and Mike had to call his friend to book a plane for the tour guy and his family to leave the country immediately, he needs to make sure he goes back home safe with his family. Although the tour guy doesn't want to leave Mike but he has no choice. Than to leave him.
Mike and the other soldiers on the other hand enters the station, and Mike was be able to rescue Lary and her friend in that prison. Through so many shootings and killing but Mike and his colleagues has upper hand and were able to rescue the prisoners.
The movie, is just like other rescues movie, but this is linked up with politics and war and so on. On like other movies that will just go straight to point, this is nice and different, although if you are someone that knows how to predict movies and next action, the movie is quite predictable.
