Finally, I watched the much awaited part of Mission Impossible franchise ,Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. The movie is released on July 10, 2023and it has been performing well at the box office. It currently holds a rating of 8.2/10 on IMDb and my personal rating is 10/10 . Here is my personal review of the movie, including a few spoilers.
The film is the seventh instalment in the Mission Impossible franchise and is directed by Christopher McQuarrie . He also directed the previous two films in the series Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) and Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018). The movie is truly an action-packed movie that will keep you watching from start to finish. I really liked the movie. Because of which I have seen it 2 times today.
The movie featured many famous actors and actresses. The main character is Tom Cruise whose name is Ethan Hunt in the movie and another name you should know is Hayley Atwell whose name is Grace in this movie. Ethan Hunt is an IMF team member and Grace is a thief. And also there are many here and more or less everyone is given screen time. But these two are shown the most times in the entire movie.
The movie will have two parts. The storyline of the movie revolves around Ethan Hunt and his team working to find an intelligent AI and stop it. And the name of this AI is Entity. I'm just saying this. And if I tell the rest of the story here, you will not be interested in watching the movie. The movie is filled with exhilarating car chases, intense fight sequences, and unexpected plot twists at every turn.
And most of all you will be surprised by Tom Cruise's amazing performance and fighting scenes. His performance at the age of 61 is truly remarkable and commendable. As far as I know, he has done all the stunts in this movie himself. He did not use any kind of VFX. And in the full movie you will enjoy Grace's repeated escapes. And you will see all the amazing stunts at the end of the movie. Especially Tom Cruise's bike jump. Really awesome.
However, finally I want to say that this movie wants to teach us a very good lesson that AI is powerful and it can be dangerous and We need to be careful develop and use AI and ensure that AI is used for good.
